Bachelor: Dean Unglert & Caelynn Miller-Keyes Had Motorcycle Accident

Dean Unglert and Caelynn Miller-Keyes met on Bachelor In Paradise last summer and have been together ever since. They were recently involved in a motorcycle accident.

Before Bachelor In Paradise, Dean appeared on Rachel Lindsay’s season of The Bachelorette, and Caelynn appeared on Colton Underwood’s season of The Bachelor. They both placed fourth in their seasons and were fan favorites. Dean opened up about his troubled relationship with his father and spoke to him on camera during his hometown date. Caelynn was widely praised for speaking out on the show about her experience with sexual assault in college. They were both very sought-after on Bachelor In Paradise, where they met for the first time. After going on a few dates, Dean decided to leave the show, saying he didn’t think it would work out with Caelynn. He returned in the next BIP episode and said he made a mistake. Caelynn left the show with him before the finale and they have been in a relationship ever since.

Last Friday, Dean and Caelynn posted on their respective Instagrams, revealing that they had been in a motorcycle accident, as reported by Heavy. Dean was driving and crashed into the side of a van. He wrote that they were “cut off” by the vehicle. “We smashed into the side of it head on,” Dean wrote on his @deanie_babies Instagram story, “First ever motorcycle accident, could have gone a lot worse.” He added a photo of the van in question that had two dents in it: one where his head hit and one where the motorcycle hit. Caelynn posted a video on her Instagram story saying that they are both fine, She stated that Dean’s finger was the only thing that was injured. Dean attempted to defend his driving, saying that he’s a “skilled motorcyclist” and that “it still could’ve been a lot worse.”

The couple is known for traveling together and often taking part in risky activities. There are several videos of the couple parachuting from helicopters, jumping out of hot air balloons, and mountain climbing on Instagram. They’ve also continued their travels throughout the pandemic this year. Dean was traveling around in an RV when the two met, and Caelynn joined in on his travels after they started dating. This year alone, they’ve been to Washington D.C., Arizona, Utah, South Dakota, Oregon, and the Maldives. They sparked marriage rumors when they were spotted wearing rings, but said that they are commitment rings and not wedding rings.

Fans will have to wait to find out what Dean and Caelynn do next. Hopefully, any upcoming experience will be less frightening than a motorcycle crash.
