Bachelor: New SPOILER Suggests Who Matt James Is Dating Post-Finale

When viewers watched The Bachelor Women’s Tell All episode, many saw Matt’s beard as a sign of singlehood and feared the worst. However, other fans aren’t so sure. The season isn’t over yet, so there’s no definitive proof of who he picks or if he doesn’t pick anyone. Alas, spoilers are circulating that may have the answers to Matt’s post-show relationship status, and some fans have come up with theories about who Matt ends up with.

There wasn’t much in the way of revelations on the recent Women’s Tell All episode, including whether or not Matt James and the winner are still together. The fans have long suspected that Matt is currently single, and spoilers have revealed that Matt and Rachael Kirkconnell, the season’s winner, did indeed break up. But new rumors have emerged, and they suggest that although Matt isn’t dating Rachael, he is dating someone else from Bachelor Nation.

When Heather Martin showed up halfway through Matt James’ season of The Bachelor and was quickly turned away by the lead, fans thought that this was the last they’d see of her. But according to Celebuzz, Matt and Heather were recently in San Clemente, California at the same time, and were spotted eating the same meal on their respective Instagram stories. These Bachelor Nation fans are theorizing that it could be a “Clare and Dale situation” where Matt and Heather are dating but choose to drop clues rather than confirming the relationship outright. If this rumor were to be true, it would explain why Heather was edited out of the Women’s Tell All. Perhaps producers didn’t want to feed into the rumors and decided to stay tight-lipped about Heather altogether.

The rumor isn’t actually that far-fetched, as Matt seemed genuinely happy to see Heather when she arrived, but her appearance put him in a tight spot. The season was already more than halfway over, and Matt knew there wasn’t enough time to form a brand-new relationship with Heather, especially with hometowns just around the corner. He also probably realized that the rest of the women would have launched an open revolt if he added any more last-minute contestants to the cast. And yet, after breaking things off with Rachael, maybe he decided to give Heather a chance.

This season of The Bachelor isn’t over yet, and fans are hoping for clarity on the After the Final Rose post-finale special. On the other hand, the viewers might not get all the answers that they seek, especially regarding Heather Martin. If the two are actually dating, it’s in the early stages, so they may decide to keep it on the down-low. But Matt could just be waiting until his season ends to share the news about his relationship with Heather.
