Amidst the bullying and the toxicity on this season of The Bachelor, Matt James went on the sweetest one-on-one with Pieper James. While Matt and Pieper enjoyed their own solo carnival, the date ended with a private concert by Temecula Road. It’s a tradition for The Bachelor to showcase bands and performances – from Dolly Parton to Backstreet Boys – and now Temecula Road has attracted attention. Here’s everything to know about the band who sang “Everything I Love” on The Bachelor season 25.

The dynamic Pieper from Happy Valley, Oregan was one happy girl when she finally got her first one-on-one with Matt. With the PDA Pieper and Matt packed on, Bachelor Nation could see their chemistry through the TV screen. As tradition dictates from possibly as far as Jason Mesnick’s season 13 of The Bachelor, which showcased Robin Thicke’s crooning, episode six saw Pieper and Matt’s cute date end with Temecula Road’s sweet tunes. But who this is the band that’s now stepping into the shoes of The Bachelor’s list of memorable musical artists, including Luke Bryan, Colbie Caillat, Train, and Boyz II Men?

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

As seen on Matt’s The Bachelor tonight, Temecula Road is a country music trio band, made up of sisters Maddie, 20, and Emma Salute, 21, and their band-mate Dawson Anderson, 21. According to FocusOnThe615, Dawson, Maddie and Emma named the band after Temecula, CA, the SoCal town they grew up in, to represent their roots. Although the three lived in Temecula, they went to different schools. But Emma and Maddie met Dawson at vocal lessons and the three started singing together right after they met. Taking influences from Thomas Rhett, Luke Bryan, Dan + Shay, Lady A, Carrie Underwood, and more, Temecula Road focuses largely on three-part harmonies in their music. With Dawson playing acoustic guitar and Emma on the mandolin, Temecula Road writes their own original music and was called “one of the top country artists to watch in 2016” by The Huffington Post. In 2017, Radio Disney named Temecula Road as its “Next Big Thing.” In the same year, the band moved to Nashville after years of traveling to Music City to record and write. Temecula Road is currently signed on to Warner Music Nashville and Disney Music Group’s Buena Vista Records, and received a standing ovation at their Grand Ole Opry debut in November 2019. They returned to the iconic Opry stage a second time last February. As noted by TheBoot, the Temecula Road trio has matching cross tattoos on their arms, which they got at the same time on a cruise as a wild decision at 2 am, when Maddie was only 17. Some of Temecula Road’s most popular songs include “Never Knew I Needed You,” “Hoping,” and now, “Everything I Love,” a new melody they released just three days before their The Bachelor debut.

Surely Temecula Road will love the new admirers they’ve amassed after singing for The Bachelor’s Matt, which they were super excited about, as seen in their Instagram posts. Next week, The Bachelor sees a more familiar face, Aloe Blacc, crooning “Now I Do” for Matt as he gets closer to the hometowns and choosing his final four 2021 contestants.
