The rumored filming location for Gabby and Rachel’s season of The Bachelorette has been revealed, and it is somewhere that the show has never been. Gabby, a 31-year-old ICU nurse from Denver and Rachel, a 26-year-old pilot and flight instructor from Clermont, Florida, were both cast on the upcoming season of the show after their appearances on Clayton Echard’s season of The Bachelor. Both women quickly became fan favorites, and, after Clayton broke up with them to pursue a relationship with Susie Evans, they were given a second chance to find love.

Gabby and Rachel’s unprecedented season will begin filming next week, with a premiere date set for July 11. The show has never had two leads for an entire season. However, in 2015, The Bachelorette season 11 began with the men voting on the first episode for either Kaitlyn Bristowe or Britt Nilsson to be the star of the show, with Kaitlyn winning the role. Host Jesse Palmer will return for Gabby and Rachel’s season as they support each other through their journeys to find love with one of thirty men. Details about how dates will work are still unclear, but the women are excited to meet the guys. On the season finale of The Bachelor 26, Rachel revealed that she was looking for someone supportive and someone who loves her. Gabby shared that she wanted someone who was emotionally intelligent and mature, and someone who can challenge her. Jesse reminded her that a good sense of humor would be important for her too.

Rumors are now swirling about the filming location for Gabby and Rachel’s season, and it would be another never-before-seen twist to the show: a cruise ship. According to Reality Steve, he received copy of an email about Virgin Cruise Lines cancelling cruise destinations for three weeks in April due to “lack of sales.” He said that the email also states that Virgin was approached by an American TV company who was willing to pay “over the odds for the entire ship for 3 weeks.” Reality Steve explained that it fits with The Bachelorette filming timeline, and “it would definitely be something new and different,” but he does not know for sure if “this is 100% The Bachelorette that contacted Virgin Cruise Lines.” Reality Steve has also heard that the show might film in Paris this season.

The cruise ship rumor was also reported by a Reddit user in a thread from March 10, 2022, titled, “Virgin Voyages cancels a month of cruises with only 12 days notice to charter the ship for The Bachelorette filming.” The post explained that “passengers are rightfully outraged. Twelve days notice for one of the cancelled cruises (late March and most of April, this is on the Valiant Lady).” If true, this could be further evidence that Gabby and Rachel’s season might take place on a cruise ship.
