Bachelorette: Meet Hannah Brown’s Brother Patrick’s Fiancee Haley Stevens

Fans of The Bachelorette were shocked to find out that Hannah Brown will now be calling the woman who played a part in the demise of her engagement to Jed Wyatt her new sister-in-law, but what is there to know about Haley Stevens? There seems to be another Bachelor-related engagement, and while the franchise is known for its messy and short-lived unions, Patrick Brown’s engagement may be the messiest one yet. While fans wondered if Hannah and her boyfriend Adam Woolard would be announcing their engagement following their recent trip to New York City, Hannah’s brother got down on one knee and proposed to his girlfriend, Haley.

Haley was born on February 20, 1992, making her 29 years old. The daughter of Jackie and Angie Stevens, Haley grew up in the city of Searcy, Arkansas with her younger sister, Cassidy Stevens. From a young age, Haley had a passion for music, and she began singing with her mother in a local church choir. However, it wasn’t until Haley was 15 that she started learning to play the guitar. In 2008, she attended a music camp in Denton, Texas, where she became the lead singer and songwriter for her camp band. Two years later, Haley collaborated with Grammy-winning record producer Randy Kohrs on her debut album, “Lipstick.”

Hannah is connected to Haley, whose love for music continued to grow as she left for college. During that time, Hannah often played in bars and venues near Auburn University, where she studied public relations. While she was living in Auburn, Haley immersed herself in the social life on campus. She got involved with the Chi Omega sorority, for which she served as an event chair during her senior year, and was affiliated with multiple public relations-related organizations. She also interned at Habitat for Humanity in Arkansas during the summer of 2011, assisting with press releases, social media, and website upkeep.

Since graduating from college in 2013, Haley has worked for a variety of companies. After spending the majority of the following year interning and working as a student consultant, Haley moved to Dallas, Texas, where she worked as a creative projects coordinator for a local company. Haley also began working for her father’s commercial contracting business, where she is currently employed as a marketing representative. She is also a member of the board of directors. In 2016, she began working for a company that makes handcrafted boots, as an assistant manager, before being promoted to her current general manager position.

That same year, Haley moved to Nashville to pursue her music career full-time. In 2018, after trying to make it big on her own, Hannah’s alleged love triangle member Haley created a country-rock duo known as Sweet Leah with Julia Kate Snow. After six months, the girls formed a band with Cameron Moreland, Nathan Ziehm, and Nick Santa Maria. Sweet Leah has been performing in Nashville, and released a debut album in 2018, along with a handful of singles and EPs.

As for her personal life, it’s definitely been dramatic. During Hannah Brown’s season of The Bachelorette, Haley came forward with claims that she was dating Jed. After meeting through a friend in Nashville, they dated for four months, before Jed received a call from producers in February of 2019. He eventually got engaged to Hannah, but she later confronted him about the allegations and broke off the engagement. Since then Jed, Hannah, and Haley have all found new relationships, although Haley’s has surprised fans the most.
