Bachelorette: What We Know About Gabby’s Relationship Status (Spoiler)

As Gabby Windey’s journey is poised to wrap up on The Bachelorette, fans want to know how things play out between her and final suitor Erich Schwer. While many in Bachelor Nation were excited to see Gabby and Rachel Recchia find love as dual leads, season 19 hasn’t lived up to the hype. Gabby’s road has been extremely rocky, and she was even insulted by multiple men early on in the season who felt she was too “rough around the edges.” Though Gabby expressed how much she just wants to be loved, several of her final men let her down.

Unfortunately for Gabby, her fantasy suites week was historic in all the wrong ways. Gabby began the week with three final men, but two of those relationships fizzled out entirely. Her date with Johnny DePhillipo didn’t even last until the night portion before Johnny admitted he wasn’t ready for an engagement, and the two of them said good bye to each other on the beach. Things got worse for Gabby when Jason Alabaster also confessed that he couldn’t picture himself getting down on one knee after being with Gabby for such a short amount of time. Ultimately, Gabby ended fantasy suites week with only Erich left, but that’s no guarantee they end up together.

Though ABC has tried to build suspense for the end of Gabby’s journey, most fans are convinced that she will leave the show engaged to Erich—and according to current spoilers, they’re right. Earlier in the season, Reality Steve revealed that Gabby gives her final rose to Erich, and his most recent intel confirms that they are still together. While co-Bachelorette Rachel’s story reportedly ends in heartbreak, Reality Steve claims that Gabby and Erich “absolutely are” still together after the show. The Bachelor Nation blogger commented that the couple might not get engaged at the final rose ceremony, but they leave Mexico together, regardless.

Reality Steve has been wrong before, but there is other evidence that has arisen to support the claim that Gabby and Erich found love and are still dating or engaged. In July, during an interview, Gabby accidentally made a comment about “her man” that suggested she was in a relationship after filming the show. Bachelorette Gabby looked shocked after realizing the information she let slip, so it seems she really did reveal something she technically shouldn’t have. All the spoilers point to a happy ending for Gabby and Erich, so unless something happens within the next few days, viewers will see the couple together on the After the Final Rose stage.

ABC may be working overtime to hint at drama going down between Gabby and Erich on The Bachelorette finale, but that’s likely just their attempt at misdirection. Because two of Gabby’s final three men left the show, the Bachelorette’s choice got a lot easier. She’s had a strong connection with Erich all season, and without any other distractions, Gabby is free to follow her heart to him. Despite what fans have seen in The Bachelorette finale previews, Gabby’s journey ends on a high note.
