In some pretty incredible fan art, Batman gets the Mighty Morphin’ treatment, getting a new batsuit in the style of a Power Ranger. Batman has crossed over with other non-DC properties before (like the Ninja Turtles), but the stories that could happen with the Power Rangers adding the Caped Crusader to their ranks have some pretty solid potential and are pretty fun to imagine. Would Batman have his own Bat-Zord? Would the Joker team up with Rita Repulsa? So many possibilities.

The epic fan artwork in question comes from artist Dan Mora and is part of a much larger series featured on his Twitter page, with several other characters getting some greatly revamped super suits as well. However, Bat-Ranger definitely takes the cake. It would be amazing if an official crossover came about at some point where Batman suits up as an honorary Power Ranger.

A DC/Power Rangers crossover did happen back in 2017, where the Justice League and Power Rangers initially fought each other, then joined forces to stop an alliance between Lord Zedd and Brainiac. The crossover was the result of a joint effort between DC Comics and Boom! Studios, who publish an ongoing Power Rangers series. However, there wasn’t any suiting up Ranger style on the part of Batman or any other members of the League in the crossover event, as entertaining as it was.

In a world where Batman becomes a Power Ranger, it’s worth exploring what other elements could get the Ranger treatment too. For example, would just Batman become a Power Ranger, or would the rest of the Justice League suit up as well? The artwork makes use of Batman’s classic color scheme with blue, so he’d probably have had the Blue Ranger title locked down. It would be incredible to see art of Wonder Woman as the Yellow Ranger, Flash as the Red Ranger, or Green Lantern as the Green Ranger (obviously). However, it could be cool if Batman was the sole DC Ranger teaming up with the classic team of Mighty Morphin’ Rangers, and he was granted the new suit for the occasion. Having his own Bat-Zord is fun to imagine as well. The Bat-Zord would no doubt provide an impressive upgrade for the Megazord, perhaps courtesy of Wayne Enterprises?

In any case, artist Dan Mora has done some incredible work with his latest fan art, proving that anything can be made even more awesome than it already is if you just add the Dark Knight into the mix. With no official plans for a future crossover on the horizon, fans can at least spend some time in their day to imagine what a Power Rangers/Batman crossover could maybe one day look like. Quick Robin, to the Bat-Zord!
