The former star of The Bachelorette, Becca Kufrin, is open to the possibility of returning as the lead after her break-up with fiancé, Garrett Yrigoyen. Becca began her journey in the franchise when she appeared on Arie Luyendyk’s season of The Bachelor. She ended up engaged to him at the end, but a couple months later he broke it off to start dating his runner-up Lauren Burnham.

Becca wasn’t heartbroken for long as she was offered the lead of The Bachelorette. She fell in love with Garrett in the end, even though the couple had a difference of opinion when it came to politics. Ultimately, the couple broke off their engagement this past summer.

The 30-year-old was recently a guest on Kaitlyn Bristowe’s podcast, Off the Vine, where she discussed the ring Garrett had proposed to her with at the final rose ceremony. “I’m never going to wear [the ring] again,” she revealed. “I don’t want to reuse the diamonds for anything, like, for myself. I don’t want that juju.” It was confirmed in September that Becca and her 31-year-old ex-fiancé decided to break off the engagement. The couple broke up after the two-year mark and were allowed to keep the ring given to them by Neil Lane. Even though Garret has already moved on with Alex Farrar, Becca isn’t quite there yet. “I was, like, not into talking to guys for a while, you know? And, like, of course, people slide into your DMs,” the former publicist admitted. “Now, I’m a little bit more open because I think I’m, like, a little bit more ready…but I want to give myself at least until the new year, like a couple more months, to figure out where I’m at.”

Kaitlyn later suggested she should think about returning as The Bachelorette, which has been done before in the past on The Bachelor for Brad Womack. “Lately, people have been asking I think just because I’m single. I never want to say no and I’d never want to say never,” Becca said. “But also, like, I am 30. I feel like a grandma…As you know, when you film an entire season, like, there’s no sleep for two-plus months, and I do not know if I could do it again.”

It sounds like Becca may be leaning toward “no,” as she has been engaged twice on the show. She admitted that as much as she loves a Neil Lane ring, she does not want to have “a ring graveyard” of past engagements. She also addressed rumors that she has reunited with her runner-up, Blake Horstmann. While the two may not be dating, she and Blake were able to become great friends. There may be hope for Becca to become The Bachelorette again, but it seems she is better off finding someone on her own.
