Bravo’s Below Deck has had its fair share of drama through the years. But whether it’s over-demanding charter guests or difficult chefs, fans can agree it wouldn’t be Below Deck if the crew wasn’t hooking up with one another. After all, when a group of hot individuals are sharing close quarters for a long period of time, it’s inevitable that someone will catch feelings.

With some crew members, such as Ben Robinson, who appeared in the original Below Deck series and spin-offs such as Below Deck: Mediterranean, hooking up was half the fun of being on the boat. There have definitely been iconic couples as the seasons come and go, and even a few love triangles that made things more interesting. However, it is safe to say that through the years there are a few relationships that stand out to fans.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

Malia, Wes & Adam

To start, one of the most memorable love triangles in the series took place between deckhand Malia White, bosun Wes Walton, and chef Adam Glick during Below Deck: Mediterranean season 2. White was stuck between both men and led them on throughout the season. White even kissed both of them in the same night! Ultimately, she chose Walton and the two dated for some time after the season ended.

Hannah & Conrad

One of the worst relationships occurred between Hannah Ferrier and Conrad Empson from Below Deck: Mediterranean season 3. Ferrier showed firsthand how she copes with obstacles when in a relationship, including panic attacks and major pettiness. The pair wound up splitting before the season ended after Empson asked her for the 50 euros ($59.69 USD) she owed him for the carton of cigarettes he bought her.

Aesha & Jack

One of the cutest relationships was between Aesha Scott and Jack Stirrup in season 4 of Below Deck: Mediterranean. Both could be described as the goofballs of the crew, and they quickly fell for one another. Stirrup even devised a whole plan on how he was going to ask Aesha out that included body paint and a homemade banner. While the couple became a fan favorite, they split shortly after the charter season ended and have since gotten into other relationships.

Elizabeth & James

Elizabeth Frankini and James Hough take the cake for most cringe-worthy as far as relationships onboard go. The pair hit it off fairly well in the beginning, but Hough wasn’t ready for anything serious, unlike Frankini, who grew incredibly attached. Every time she would ask if they were an item, he would dodge the question. While he didn’t say how he felt right to her face (right away), he had no problem letting his crewmates know how he felt about the situation. It wasn’t her problem for long, as Frankini was let go before the season ended.

Some honorable mentions for both best and worst couples include Jenna MacGillvray and Adam Glick of Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 1, whom viewers didn’t care for due to their constant PDA in the galley. Another couple was Simone Mashile and Tanner Sterback from season 7 of Below Deck. Their romance was short-lived because Sterback was too vocal about their sex life. Finally, Joao Franco and Brooke Laughton from Below Deck: Mediterranean season 3 were easily one of the worst couples in the franchise. Due to his alter ego, Jezabob, Franco led third stew, Kasey Cohen, on while also seeing Laughton. After apologizing for his behavior to Cohen, he pursued a relationship with Laughton. They stayed together after the season ended, but split before the reunion.
