Former Below Deck third stew Caroline Bedol is spilling some behind the scenes information, revealing there is a hidden fourth stew on board that does a huge chunk of the work. Caroline appeared in season 6 of the popular show and didn’t exactly have the best time on board. It seemed as if she could do nothing right in chief stew Kate Chastain’s eyes. Caroline seemed to be an inefficient employee, requiring time off for an injured foot, shattering glass on the floor (which resulted in a child stepping on glass) and generally just being slow on the job. She claimed to have felt bullied by her co-workers and chose to quit mid-season.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

After the end of a charter, Caroline went to Captain Lee and announced she was giving her two-day notice, and that she was done with the boat. There is some confusion over the consequences in which Caroline actually left the boat. On the show, Caroline was seen giving her two-day notice and then refusing to get out of bed and work the next day. Next, Kate and Josiah were seen doing everything possible to get her out of bed and off the boat immediately. Caroline said that wasn’t exactly what happened, and Bravo chose to exclude a lot of footage. According to her, she got out of bed to work but returned to her room and saw Josiah throwing her clothes off hangers and onto her floor. She says Kate also insulted her mother, calling her vulgar names.

Caroline is now revealing there is a secret fourth stewardess on board that helps the interior and actually does a majority of the work on board. According to Express, Bedol took to Reddit to discuss her season and gave away some big behind the scenes secrets. When a fan pointed out that it seemed like they could use the extra help of a fourth stew, Caroline replied that they actually do have that extra help. She says that a fourth stew comes on board in between charters and does a majority of the work while the interior crew is busy filming the show. Caroline says they don’t actually do much cleaning, explaining she never even had to scrub a toilet during any of the charters. Apparently, the only thing they do in regards to the cabins is rearrange the shampoos and soaps, and replace the linens in the master cabin.

Caroline went on to say that the fourth stew that was with them in Tahiti was awesome, and she wishes the world got to see her. The name of this fourth stew has not been released and her identity is still unknown. Caroline also took the time to knock her former boss Kate down a few pegs. She said that while the secret fourth stew does the work of the second and third stew, production actually does the work for the chief stew. According to her, production is the one in charge of planning the parties seen on the charter, with dancers and any other performers, not the chief stew. She says the chief stew is told to act like they are the ones planning everything when in reality production has already taken care of everything behind the scenes.

It seems as though there is a lot of behind the scenes secrets fans are slowly learning as time goes on. Fans previously learned that the master cabin they see on the show is not actually the master cabin. That room is actually used by production to house all their monitors and cameras. They also revealed recently that camera operators are not allowed to speak or interact with the yacht crew in any way. With these secrets out, it leaves fans wondering what other Below Deck secrets are out there waiting to be unearthed.
