Drunk Delores Flora made Below Deck fans witness Captain Lee Rosbach at his angriest best. While the Gatsby party is what really set Captain Lee’s teeth on edge, it was Dolores jumping into the cold night sea that made the Below Deck pioneer admit that he’d never “unloaded on a guest like that.” But who is Dolores, who made Captain Lee recall the haunting experience he’d had in season 6 with deckhand Ashton Pienaar?

In all of its eight seasons, Below Deck’s Captain Lee had managed to steer clear of any explosive moments like Dolores’ but her itch to swim while drunk got him terribly angry. The Roaring Twenties style dinner and the multiple bottles of champagne that accompanied it prompted Dolores to get things going. But while asking for peas to feed the fish in the Caribbean, tipsy Dolores also gave the “biggest f**k you” to the Below Deck star, in spite of her having paid “a lot” of money. The furious captain disregarded the money baiting and launched into an angry tirade that ended with him claiming the charter has ended. However, as Below Deck’s Captain Lee cursed about being “done,” fans became curious about Delores.

Delores, a Sausalito, Calif., resident, appears to be an independent graphic design professional, as per her Linkedin. After graduating from Cerritos College in Norwalk, Calif., Dolores first worked with The Union Democrat for almost seven years from January 1992 and later with the Marin Independent Journal as a graphic artist. Furthermore, Delores also has experience as a consultant and animal supply manager at Martin Brothers’ Supply.

Delores’ love for design seems to have graced her family as well, with her Facebook mentioning that her son Kanon Craig Flora is also a contemporary mixed media artist. Her profile also notes that Delores is listed as an organ donor, and she talks about her penchant for travel and good food on the page as she refers to her “inner Italian.” The Below Deck guest flaunts her photography skills, via enchanting shots of the Clipper Yacht Harbor. A post from October 2019 shows Delores talk about her own boat “Alice Ann,” which she’s owned for nine years. She’s grateful for getting to see everything from swallows to seals to seabirds, all in her own backyard where she “pays a lot to stay.” Passionate about animal rescue, Delores loves traveling just as much and considers travel writer Rick Steves as her hero. But, as her Facebook also suggests, Delores is very much still friends with her Below Deckboat people” buddies Karen and Tina.

Over on Instagram, Delores displays the best of her fondness for travel, wildlife, nature, food, and of course, the sea. Nothing on Delores’ social media, however, hints at her ever going as wild as she did on Below Deck, perhaps hinting at it having been a one-time thing. But surely, Dolores’ diving stunt did rattle Captain Lee, leaving him forever changed, and giving Below Deck fans a nail-biting moment they’ll always remember.
