Delaney Evans is the new cast member joining Below Deck Mediterranean as a fourth stew. While she has yet to be introduced to the crew, viewers are excited to see how the interior team works as a unit of four. Chief stew Katie Flood was unsure at first about adding a fourth stew after Captain Sandy told her they had someone out of quarantine if she needed the extra hands. At first, Katie wasn’t sure if they really needed someone and told Sandy she would let her know.

By the end of the most recent charter, Katie realized that her second stew Lexi Wilson wasn’t pulling her weight and decided it was best to bring on the extra stew. At first, the crew was unsure about having another person on board as it would affect how much they would receive from the tips. Nonetheless, the interior team is in desperate need of some help, and they are hoping Delaney is exactly what they need.

Delaney has yet to join the crew on Lady Michelle, but viewers have spotted her in the mid-season trailer, as well as the sneak peeks for next week’s episode. According to her blog, Delaney Eva, she was born and raised near Alki Beach in Seattle. However, right before she started high school, her family left everything in Seattle for San Diego. At first, Delaney, who may have a romance with deckhand David Pascoe, focused on school and philanthropy throughout high school. She also spent her free time working in retail, modeling, and occasionally sailing at her local community center. After high school ended, Delaney began attending UC Berkeley for her undergraduate, one of the top schools in California. While she was there, Delaney joined the sailing team and quickly fell in love with boats.

The new stew’s first job in the yachting industry was working as a sailing instructor at a yacht club in San Francisco. Her first job led her to a training ship that taught her a lot about yacht life and navigation. Delaney, who was featured in the mid-season trailer for Below Deck Med, has since traveled the world, working on as many yachts as she could. During her summers, she would work in the Mediterranean, and during her winter breaks, she would head out to the Caribbean. Now, Delaney is working towards her 200-ton captain’s license, and recently got a job running fishing day charters in Hawaii. According to her Instagram page, Delaney has been living her best life since moving to Hawaii. Her grid always consists of her in a bathing suit or somewhere near a body of water.

Next week, viewers will finally get to meet Delaney and see how she interacts with the crew on Lady Michelle. Will they love their new stew so much they get rid of Lexi, or will she be just as bad? Fans will have to wait and see once Delaney is introduced to the Below Deck Med fans.
