Hannah Ferrier is throwing shade at Captain Sandy for experiencing anxiety during Below Deck Mediterranean season 6. There has been tension between the former chief stew and the captain ever since they began working together on Below Deck Med season 2. Hannah returned to her position as chief stew while Sandy was brand-new to the Bravo series. The two immediately had an issue with each other, especially Hannah, who disliked Sandy for micromanaging the crew.

As the years went by, Hannah and Sandy managed to make peace with each other even though it was clear that there was some tension between them. Sandy would often call Hannah out on her lack of ability as a chief stew, while Hannah would take the criticism on the chin and never say anything about it. After she was fired for having Valium on board mid-way through Below Deck Mediterranean season 5, Hannah had enough of Sandy and left the show.

Last week, the 34-year-old left a shady comment on the official Facebook page for Below Deck. The comment was left under a clip of the crew discussing new stew Delaney Evans. The title of the post read, “The Below Deck Med Crew on Bringing on Another Stew: ‘It Definitely Caused Some Anxiety and Worry,” to which Hannah commented, “Hopefully you don’t need medication for that anxiety.” The insult comes a year after Hannah was fired for having Valium and a CBD pen in her cabin. Her roommate, Malia White, found the items and reported them to Sandy. The captain later made the now-controversial decision to terminate Hannah, claiming that she was not allowed to have medication on board that wasn’t registered with the bridge.

After the season began to air, Captain Sandy admitted that she had no regrets regarding what happened between her and Hannah. “I prefer to work with people I can trust […] to be honest,” Sandy, who claims Hannah wanted to be fired, told E! (via Us Weekly) last September. Sandy is someone who enjoys mentoring those who work under her and found that Hannah just wasn’t open to learning from her. However, the former chief stew has a different story, explaining that Sandy had been competing for screentime with Hannah. During an episode of the Side Piece with Melissa Pfeister podcast in March, Hannah admitted that she did not “think we were competing on our work positions. I think she was competitive with me on the TV side of things.” Sandy has denied that claim and responded by proclaiming that Hannah was the one who wanted more camera time.

Hannah took the first chance she could to take a dig at Captain Sandy, and she picked the perfect time. The former chief stew’s Below Deck firing was uncalled for, and Hannah isn’t over the fact that she was terminated for a minor reason. Alas, everything worked out in Hannah’s favor as she is now the mother of a beautiful baby girl.
