Chef Marcos Spaziani will be on Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3, and there is already a ton of buzz around him. The trailer for the much-anticipated season dropped earlier this week with a lot of new drama, returning fan-favorites, and new crew members. For instance, returning from Sailing Yacht season 2 is chief stew Daisy Kelliher, first mate Gary King, chief engineer Colin MacRae, and everyone’s favorite captain – Captain Glenn Shephard – who’s been on the show since BDSY season 1.

Season 2 of the Bravo series had a lot of eyes watching for several reasons. Fans were curious as to how they would tackle the COVID-19 restrictions and what the new cast would bring that the season 1 cast didn’t. Sailing Yacht season 2 was completely revamped from season 1, as no one expected Captain Glenn made a return. With so many returning crew members, season 3 is already looking like a great season.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

As detailed in his bio with Bravo, Marcos, who will be working alongside the first mate Gary on Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3, has been working in the culinary industry for more than 10 years and is ready to impress the charter guests with his skills. As someone who’s spent most of his time on land, Marcos is excited to get in the galley and show off his skills in the kitchen. Marcos has attended culinary school in his home country of Venezuela and has since traveled to many countries, learning from the best chefs all around the world. However, he has since set roots on land in Los Angeles. There Marcos is the owner of an up-and-coming restaurant in Koreatown called Under One Roof. The restaurant started as a food truck that Marcos still runs called ML Eats. Marcos, who will be working alongside chief engineer Colin on Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3, has skills that can provide a fusion of Korean, Venezuelan, American, and Italian street food with a twist of gourmet style (via ML Eats LA).

Marcos’ new restaurant endeavor began two years ago when he arrived in LA from Miami as he received a job as a Corporate Chef at one of the most well-known restaurants in the city, Taste. While working there, Marcos met Chef Louis Huh, an Executive Chef at one of the restaurants within the same corporation. The two began working together harmoniously and decided to start their own business so they can give customers gourmet-style food at an affordable price. Chef Louis and Marcos, who will be working along with Captain Glenn on BDSY season 3, came up with ML Eats, which offers a number of services such as restaurant consulting, a food truck, events and catering, and private chef events. For now, the fans can find Marcos on Instagram as well, where he gives his followers an inside look at all of his different dishes.

Viewers will officially get to meet Marcos on February 21 when Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 episode 1 premieres. There’s a chance Marcos will thrive in the galley aboard Parsifal III. However, it’s also possible that he will have trouble like so many chefs before him. Fans will have to wait and see once the season premieres.
