The ‘smartness’ of the Q60T is handled via the intuitive Tizen platform which has a large number of apps and support for voice assistants. Performance is where the 65X800H sets itself apart from other mid-range offerings. The panel has great brightness and color reproduction is excellent. It does not feature Bluetooth. Smart TV functionality is handled via the SmartCast interface with many apps to choose from, as well as for Vizio’s WatchFree section. Chromecast is built-in, and there is support for Alexa and Google Assistant, and Apple HomeKit2. The M658-G1 supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+ too and has great picture quality. Connectivity includes a welcome five HDMI ports (one is capable of 120Hz and intended for gaming), one USB port, component video input, digital and analog audio outputs, a coaxial connection for cable or antenna, a LAN jack, and dual-band wi-fi. Unfortunately, there is no Bluetooth connectivity. The PX65-G1 shows its smarts via the SmarCast interface with access to a good number of apps. A nice added feature is Vizio’s WatchFree section which adds in hundreds of free streaming resources. The smarts are enhanced with the built-in Chromecast and Apple AirPlay 2. There is also voice command support for Alexa and Google Assistant, but unfortunately, a separate smart speaker will be necessary as they are not built into the unit. The PX65-G1 wouldn’t be very smart if the picture quality wasn’t good, and here this Vizio doesn’t disappoint. Picture performance is superb with excellent brightness, very good color accuracy, and deep black levels.

I could just snarkily say that the Vizio PX65-G1 is smart and looks good too, but that would be ignorant. What I will say is that the PX65-G1 deftly combines its smartness with impressive picture quality. It is a great choice on the list of best 60-inch TVs.
