Beyond The Edge is an exciting adventure reality television show in which nine celebrities compete in the jungles of Panama to raise money for charities of their choice. From the producers of Naked And Afraid, Beyond The Edge forces the celebrities to leave behind their luxurious lives and survive in the dangerous jungle under brutal conditions, where they participate in teams in competitions that push them to their limits. Described as “the most intense celebrity adventure ever attempted,” this Survivor-like show requires teamwork, perseverance, and inner strength beyond anything that they have ever experienced.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

The heart of the Panamanian jungle is full of creatures such as jaguars, snakes, and spiders. The celebrities must work together to find their own food, and they have to sleep in huts in the wilderness, exposed to the elements. During each competition, the winning team will split the reward money equally among its members. The celebrities also receive $2,000 for their charities for each day that they last in the jungle. Nearly $750,000 is available to win. Unlike other reality competition shows, no one is eliminated each week. Instead, if the celebrities reach their breaking points, they will ring a bell, signaling that they will leave the competition and go home.

In the Beyond The Edge series premiere, Showtime sports announcer and host of Beyond the Edge Mauro Ranallo asked why the celebrities would do this. He explained they “share a common mission: to prove that if we all work together, we can accomplish anything for the greater good.” Get to know these extremely brave and respectable celebrities, and find out when and where to watch this compelling show.
