Cody Calafiore became the winner of Big Brother 22: All-Stars, but that victory came with the burden of cutting his friend and ally Nicole Franzel at the finale. Surprisingly, BB22 had one of the most emotional finale nights in the history of the show. Moreover, the episode finally had a huge shocking game move that the fans weren’t expecting: Cody decided to take Enzo to the Final 2, which resulted in him cutting Nicole. Despite being upset and slightly blindsided by his decision, Nicole still chose to cast her jury vote for Cody to win, helping his 9-0 unanimous win. This is only the second time there has ever been a unanimous jury vote on the show.

Cody Calafiore first competed on Big Brother 16, which aired during the summer of 2014. On BB16, Cody proved himself to be a comp beast who also found himself in powerful alliances. For one, he teamed up with Derrick in the infamous Hitman alliance. Cody stayed loyal to Derrick the entire time, even on finale night. After winning the final Head of Household of the season, Cody had to make a decision to stick to his loyalty to Derrick with the chance of losing or guaranteeing his win by sitting next to Victoria. Ultimately, Cody stuck to his loyalty but ended up coming in second place in a 7-2 vote.

After becoming the winner of Big Brother 22: All-Stars, Cody explained to EW his reasoning behind cutting Nicole. Cody shared that the decision was extremely hard for him due to the fact he had grown so close to both Nicole and Enzo. He explained how vital they each were to his game, admitting that he most likely would not have made it to finale night if it wasn’t for the two of them. Overall, Cody’s mind kept going back and forth regarding this decision. From the moment that he won the third round of the final HOH up until when he announced his decision, Cody could not even look Nicole in the eyes. He said, “Once I won, I knew kind of where I was leaning and I could barely even look at her.

Cody already has plans for his well-earned Big Brother 22 prize money. In the interview, Cody shared that his first priority is to get rid of his debt from student loans. He talked about the dilemma of putting himself in debt to not even work in the industry that he got a degree in. Cody also shared his plan to use and save this money wisely. He plans to put it towards his future family and kids. Cody’s intentions are to talk with friends who work in investment companies to come up with the best plan for his money.
