Big Brother 22: Everything to Know About Tyler Crispen & Angela Rummans’ Relationship

Tyler Crispen of Big Brother 22: All-Stars met girlfriend Angela Rummans during BB20. Since then, the couple has released a cookbook and started a jewelry company together. Both Tyler and Angela competed on Big Brother 20, which aired in 2018. At the time, Tyler was a 23-year-old lifeguard from Hilton Head, South Carolina. Angela was a 26-year-old fitness model from Playa Vista, California. When Tyler won the first Head of Household competition of the season, he was brought into the Level Six alliance. Originally, this particular alliance had Angela, Brett, Rachel, and Winston.

It is true that the romance between Tyler and Angela may have started on BB20 as a consequence of being alliance members. However, there was no denying that the two had strong chemistry and fell deeply in love with each other. Throughout the season, Tyler, Angela, and their Level Six alliance also dominated the game at every level. For instance, Tyler won three HOH competitions and three POV competitions, ending up as the runner-up of the season. Moreover, Angela won three HOH competitions and two POV competitions, ultimately landing in fourth place. Nonetheless, the real journey of this couple began once they were outside of the BB house.

After appearing on Big Brother 20, Tyler and Angela moved in together in Los Angeles. Officially known by the Tangela nickname, the couple became huge social media stars and promising entrepreneurs after appearing on TV. On Instagram, Angela and Tyler have landed several marketing campaigns to promote different products, services, and destinations. These campaigns range from traveling to beautiful places to promote hotels to partnering with food brands they love to consume. Some of these brands have long standing relationships with the couple, which is a sign they are successful in influencing potential customers. Tyler and Angela also launched their own jewelry company in January 2019 called Naut & Chain. The company describes its jewelry and accessories as “original and ocean-inspired.” In July 2019, Angela Rummans released her first-ever book, Unbothered: Break Down the Boulders Between You and Your True Potential. The book is described as a tell-all memoir that tells Angela’s journey from being a successful athlete to becoming a Big Brother star and entrepreneur.

Tyler and Angela kicked off 2020 with the news that they were moving to a beautiful house in Hilton Head, South Carolina, which is where Tyler is from. The couple’s move to leave Los Angeles seemed like a deliberate choice to live away from the Hollywood glamour. In February, the couple celebrated Tyler’s birthday and Valentine’s Day by taking a trip to several different countries. In that month alone, the couple traveled to Antigua, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi. While in the United Arab Emirates, the couple experienced it all, from luxurious resort life to walking through the desert. With the rapid spread of COVID-19 and the need for social distancing, however, Tangela was forced to slow down on their trips. Still, the couple occasionally shares throwback pictures from those trips.

Later in 2020, Tyler Crispen was cast on Big Brother 22: All-Stars. During his intro video, Tyler spoke about his first time on the show and his relationship with Angela. When talking about coming in second place on BB20, Tyler remarked that he met Angela on the show, and thus considers himself a winner nonetheless. After Tyler Crispen entered the Big Brother: All-Stars house, Angela Rummans launched her second book, Angela’s Plant-Based Kitchen. This time, Angela put together a cookbook with over one hundred plant-based recipes. According to Tyler, Angela is a great cook and was a huge influence on his transition to becoming vegan.

Tyler and Angela seem to be very in tune with each other and have a clear vision for their future on both personal and professional levels. Moreover, there’s no denying that they’ve done their best to be positive influences on their fans and build a multimedia empire together.
