Big Brother 23: Hannah Chaddha Shows Off New Short Hair

Big Brother 23 star Hannah Chaddha is showing off her brand-new shorter haircut in a series of photos and videos on social media. In July 2021, Hannah came into the BB23 house as a 21-year-old graduate student from Naperville, Illinois. Hannah’s past academic achievements included earning a General Chemistry Award and a Liberal Arts and Sciences Merit Award while graduating with Summa Cum Laude Latin Honors from the University of Illinois Chicago in 2020.

Throughout Big Brother 23, Hannah exercised not only her critical thinking and memorization skills but also her abilities to play a social game and manipulate others to advance further in the competition. While aiding the Cookout to make it to the end, Hannah also got herself to final five and was evicted due to being a massive target to potentially win BB23 in the end. Now that the grand finale is in the rearview mirror and Hannah is no longer sequestered in the jury house, Hannah is exploring a new look.

Hannah is now sporting a new short hairstyle that was captured by a few different people on social media. As seen below, Big Brother fans on Twitter re-posted some of those pictures and videos that feature Hannah’s new short hair. In one particular video, Kyland Young filmed Hannah walking around with her new hairstyle and posing for the camera. Later, the Cookout members (along with Derek Xiao) were spotted doing a professional photoshoot with photographer Philip Alan and some of his recently-captured pictures also showcased Hannah’s brand-new look. As per usual, Hannah hasn’t made a huge deal out of her new look, but the fans are already obsessed.

Hannah is only 21 years old, so this is certainly the time when most people are experimenting with their hairstyles. She does look fantastic with the shorter hair, and as some fans noted in their tweets, she’s definitely looking more mature with this new look. A lot of students struggle to be taken more seriously in grad school and early in their careers, particularly when they look younger than they actually are. Hannah doesn’t need to prove her maturity level any further after competing so well all summer long on Big Brother, but maybe this new look is reflecting a new era in her personal and/or professional life.

Only time will tell if Hannah will ever come back to compete on Big Brother in a future season. However, she is already showing fans some visual versatility and giving them a new aesthetic for her post-season era. There’s no denying that Hannah had a massive impact on the Cookout’s success and on Big Brother 23 as a whole, so fans will be keeping an eye out for her.
