Less than 24 hours after tying the knot, Nicole Franzel is already under fire. This time, it’s by a fellow Big Brother alum. Angela “Rockstar” from season 20 bashed Nicole on Twitter for her non-diverse bridal party. Nicole and her now-husband, Victor Arroyo, got married in Florida on Tuesday. In attendance were Nicole’s fellow All-Stars Christmas Abbott and Memphis Garrett.

Victor and Nicole first met during season 18 of Big Brother. Although they did not have a showmance while inside the house, the two went on to start dating following their return to the real world. Victor later proposed to Nicole when they returned to the Big Brother house during season 20 to surprise the houseguests. The two have since had to postpone their wedding twice due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Back in January, they announced they were expecting their first child together.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

Angela seems to have had an issue with Nicole and Victor’s wedding. The season 20 alum tweeted a photo of Nicole alongside her nine bridesmaids, sarcastically writing, “It’s the diverse friend group for me.” Before fans got a chance to respond to her tweet, Angela replied to her own tweet, clarifying, “Let me add they look lovely…they do. They just all look alike.” Angela sparked quite the conversation following her tweet. While some were on the same page as her, others were confused by why she felt the need to judge Nicole on her wedding day. One even noted that Nicole’s hometown is primarily white, which would explain her lack of diversity in her wedding party. Another user acknowledged that Nicole did have one person of color in her bridal party.

The tweet even caught the attention of fellow Big Brother alum. Danielle Reyes shared Angela’s tweet, adding her own perspective to it. She complimented Nicole on the “lovely photo” alongside her bridesmaids. Danielle went on to explain, “I think it is fair not to judge people because they don’t hang around a diverse group.” She continued stating that she has seen bridal parties of single ethnicities in the past, whether it be solely African American, Chinese, Hispanic, etc. Danielle even pointed out that, in those situations, no one seems to comment on the lack of diversity. Many praised Danielle for her perspective on the situation, agreeing that Angela was out of line. However, they were quick to turn on their words, bashing Nicole for having a mask-less wedding amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Whether they agree with the decisions Nicole makes in her life or not, most fans seem to be sick and tired of the constant hate and judgment surrounding her every move. Back in February, Nicole ultimately decided to delete her Twitter account due to the ongoing hate she was receiving. Some fans feel Angela only tweeted about Nicole for attention. Nicole and Angela seem to have only met once when Nicole and Victor got engaged during season 20 of Big Brother, making it quite odd that Angela would bash Nicole so publicly.
