Big Brother Canada 10: Cast Members’ Age, Job, Hometown & More

The Big Brother fandom is looking forward to learning more about the players who have joined the Big Brother Canada 10 cast in 2022. As it is the tradition, a total of 16 houseguests entered BBCAN10, which is the same number of contestants featured in the US edition of the show. Another BBCAN tradition is to feature a very diverse cast of players in terms of race, sexual orientation, backgrounds, and game strategies.

After the hugely successful BBCAN9, Global TV is once again betting big on Big Brother Canada season 10. This cast consists of Betty Yirsaw, Gino Giannopoulos, Haleena Gill, Hermon Nizghi, Jacey-Lynne Graham, Jay Northcott, Jessica Gowling, Josh Nash, Kevin Jacobs, Kyle Moore, Marty Frenette, Melina Mansing, Moose Bendago, Stephanie Paterson, Summer Sayles, and Tynesha White. 2021 featured incredibly iconic winners as Tychon Carter-Newman on Big Brother Canada 9 and Xavier Prather on Big Brother 23, who both made history as Black men winning the competition.

Overall, the Big Brother Canada 10 cast is one of the most exciting and diverse in the history of the series. There are people from their early 20s to their mid-40s. There are contestants who will play with their social skills and intelligence, but there are also competitive beasts. The show is once again also following up on its commitment to featuring a cast that is composed of at least 50% BIPOC contestants. Last year, viewers absolutely loved BBCAN9 not only in terms of casting decisions but also as far as how the game was played. Now, it’s time for fans to learn more about the 16 houseguests who will be going head-to-head on Big Brother Canada 10 in 2022.

Betty Yirsaw

This year, one of the contestants fighting to win BBCAN10 is Betty Yirsaw, a 31-year-old human resources manager from Edmonton. She considers herself a kind person with a “feisty side.”

Gino Giannopoulos

At 28 years of age, Steven Giannopoulous – a.k.a. Gino Giannopoulous – is also a contestant on Big Brother Canada 10. Gino is from Laval, Quebec and works as a firefighter. He believes he is a charming person and is a self-proclaimed “lover.”

Haleena Gill

Surrey, British Columbia resident Haleena Gill is 27 years old and has recently graduated with a master’s degree. She wants to play a strong social game on BBCAN10 but isn’t afraid of being cutthroat when necessary.

Hermon Nizghi

Hermon Nizghi is planning to compete on Big Brother Canada 10 as a social player. The 29-year-old is from Nanaimo, British Columbia and works as an auto sales general manager. Otherwise, Hermon considers himself a funny guy who stands by his values and morals even if he’s playing a game as savage as Big Brother.

Jacey-Lynne Graham

From Thunder Bay, Ontario, Jacey-Lynne Graham is 24 years old, which means that she’s one of the youngest houseguests on BBCAN10. Jacey-Lynne is a social media manager who will try to disguise herself as an undercover competition beast.

Jay Northcott

Jay Northcott is a theatre director from Toronto. At just 28 years of age, Jay isn’t afraid of taking charge and assuming a leadership role. He also plans on using his acting skills in the game.

Jessica Gowling

35-year-old Jessica Gowling is one of the oldest houseguests in the Big Brother Canada house. From Cranbrook, British Columbia, Jessica works as a visual artist. When it comes to the game, Jessica is a superfan whose master plan is to play a great social game on BBCAN10. If things go according to plan, Jessica wants to lay low for some time and then start showing up to the competition at the right time.

Josh Nash

Pediatrics resident Josh Nash has 11 siblings, so he has no problem living in the midst of chaos and a bunch of people. Josh is 28 years old and from Vancouver. His master plan seems to be creating strong alliances but breaking them off in the end so he can win the grand prize by himself.

Kevin Jacobs

Another player from Toronto is Kevin Jacobs, who works as a sales engineer and has 28 years of age. As his promo image (included above) suggests, Kevin is entering BBCAN10 with what he calls a “diabolical plan to lie, trick, and pit the other houseguests against each other.” This sounds familiar to Dr. Will Kirby’s strategy, so we’ll see if Kevin can pull off this gameplay.

Kyle Moore

Kyle Moore is a podcaster from Halifax. Overall, he wants to play Big Brother like a game of chess, so he might’ve taken a few cues from past seasons. With that said, Kyle is only 23 years old, which makes him the youngest contestant in the entire Big Brother Canada 10 cast.

Marty Frenette

The oldest houseguest on BBCAN10 is Martin Frenette a.k.a. Marty, who is 43 years of age. He’s a fraud investigator, which might serve him well in a competition like this. Marty is from Petit-Rocher, New Brunswick and describes himself as a “cool dad and nice guy.” However, he’s ready to watch out for the liars and fraudsters on Big Brother Canada.

Melina Mansing

Melina Mansing is an artist from Toronto who enjoys being spontaneous and living her life without any rules. On the other hand, the 29-year-old also has a calculated side to herself, so her BBCAN10 co-stars should watch out.

Moose Bendago

Also from Toronto is Moose Bendago, a 24-year-old content creator. Moose wants to play this game following his gut instincts and remaining loyal to his allies. Ultimately, he thinks that his social game will triumph.

Stephanie Paterson

At 26 years of age, Stephanie Paterson is a child and youth worker from Toronto. She isn’t shy about showing off her over-the-top personality and plans on playing a social game where everyone trusts her with their secrets.

Summer Sayles

Another contestant on Big Brother Canada 10 is Summer Sayles. The 25-year-old is also from Toronto and currently considers herself “fununemployed.” Above all else, Summer will be playing to win, not to make lifelong friends. She isn’t scared to admit that she has a short temper, particularly when she is feeling hungry.

Tynesha White

Tynesha White is 32 years old and comes from Montreal. She’s worked as a model her entire life but is now wanting to compete on the show to “represent all the single mothers of the world.” Fans will have to wait and see to find out if Tynesha’s motherly energy will take her to the end of BBCAN10.
