Big Brother legend James Rhine and wife Stephany Marie have welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Tristan James Rhine. It’s been a long time – 15 years, to be exact – since the fans got to meet James on Big Brother 6. Back then, he was introduced as a 29-year-old loss prevention manager from Miami, Florida. The big twist during that season was that all of the houseguests were playing with someone they knew from the outside world, but all of those pairs were initially kept a secret. James initially played BB6 with his then-girlfriend, but he lasted much longer in the game than she was able to.

A year later, James became one of the four Big Brother 6 houseguests to compete on the series’ first-ever All-Stars season. He was joined by BB6 co-stars Janelle Pierzina, Kaysar Ridha, and Howie Gordon. They were initially targeted by the other returning houseguests for being four people of the same season who had just played the game a year before. But they all started to play their own games along the way, and Janelle ultimately outlasted all of them by making it to the Final 3. As of 2020, James has been married to his wife Stephany Marie for two years. Earlier this year, he announced that she was pregnant with their first child.

On Wednesday, October 7, James Rhine and wife Stephany Marie welcomed their first son, who they’ve named Tristan James Rhine. Per People, Tristan was born 6 lbs., 10 oz. and 18 inches long. In a tweet (seen below), James shared the first picture of his newborn son. “MY WIFE MADE THIS!!!” the proud dad added. On his Instagram, James had been excitedly sharing updates about his wife being in labor all day long. On one particular Instagram Story repost, James shared a picture of Stephany that was captioned: “5 hours of labor… idk how many more to go lol.. starting to have stronger contractions.” A few hours later, James updated everyone that they still had a few hours to go until Tristan was delivered. Needless to say, this was a very long day for the new parents.

The Big Brother fans will be very excited to hear that a mini James Rhine is now out in the world. He is a beautiful baby boy who’s being welcomed into a loving family. At the moment, James and Stephany reside in Las Vegas, Nevada, which means that Tristan will be living in the City of Lights at his earliest age.

It’s been a busy year for Big Brother alumni having kids. But it’s certainly a big deal for the fans to get to know the first child of such a legendary player in BB history.
