Big Brother’s Nicole Franzel opened up about her son’s scary trip to the emergency room last week. Nicole and her fellow Big Brother alum husband Victor Arroyo announced they were expecting their first child together at the start of this year. A few months later they tied the knot at an intimate Florida wedding.

In July, Nicole and Victor welcomed their first son into the world together. The couple followed in Victor’s family tradition by naming their baby Victor Arroyo IV. Since Nicole did not want her son to get nicknames such as “junior” or “little,” she and Victor came up with a unique nickname for their son. While his legal name is Victor, Nicole and Victor call their son “Arrow.” Over the last few months, the couple has been adjusting to becoming first time parents.

This adjustment period has been anything but easy for Nicole and Victor. The season 18 winner opened up about Arrow’s recent trip to the emergency room. Nicole shared a lengthy post on Instagram late Monday along with some intimate photos from inside the hospital. Late last week, Nicole informed her followers that Arrow had a rash all over his body; however, he was seemingly acting normal. Nicole became worried as she and her family recently had COVID-19. While the doctors initially told Nicole it was nothing to worry about, she later shocked fans after revealing she had spent the night in the emergency room with Arrow. In the recent post Nicole recalled, “A couple days ago I dropped to my knees begging God to help Arrow.” Luckily, her prayers were answered.

Nicole described the sense of fear she felt as she and Victor did not know what was wrong with their 4-month-old son. The family of three spent the night in the hospital as doctors ran tests on Arrow while also hydrating him with fluids. The photos Nicole shared in the post were some of the few she had sent to her parents while in the hospital. She admitted that she opted out of posting some because it pained her to see how sick Arrow looked in them. While Nicole did not give specific details as to what was wrong with Arrow, she did vow to be more open and honest on the social media platform in an effort to prevent her account from being a “highlight reel.” Nicole admitted that the last month has been extremely tough for her and her family. Ever since Victor got in his car accident, things have “been [one] hurdle over another.

Luckily, the Big Brother parents and their precious baby boy are all home now. Arrow is seemingly feeling much better as Nicole has been posting photos and videos of him smiling and happy. From the sound of Nicole’s post, fans can expect to hear more details about this scary hospital visit from Nicole in the near future.
