April Dowling and Bryan Ollie got involved in a showmance back on Big Brother 10, and the fans have been curious about what they’ve been up to ever since. BB10 aired all the way back in 2008 on CBS. That was an iconic season that included houseguests like Dan Gheesling, Keesha Smith, Memphis Garrett, Renny Martyn, and Libra Thompson. In the end, it was Dan that took home the $500,000 grand prize.

BB10 also featured April Dowling and Bryan Ollie, who quickly got involved in a showmance. At the time, Ollie didn’t drink, smoke, or curse, as he was raised by a strict Pentecostal preacher at home. However, his faith and principles didn’t stop him from having a good time on the show and even entertain a relationship with a fellow houseguest, April. After 45 days, April was evicted from the house. Two weeks later, it was Ollie’s time to go. Both of them were put on the nomination block against Jerry MacDonald.

Big Brother 10 contestant Ollie graduated from Iowa State University with a full football scholarship. There, he earned a bachelor’s degree. Ollie is originally from Bloomington, Minnesota and he has worked as a marketing and sales representative. He placed sixth on the show and was the fourth jury member of the season. Per RealityTVWorld, Ollie and April have not been a pair for quite some time. Currently, Ollie is married (to someone else) and has kids. In turn, April graduated from Doane College in Crete, Nebraska with a bachelor’s degree in sports and fitness management. She’s worked as a financial manager at a car dealership. On BB10, April placed eighth and became the season’s second jury member. She is now married to Ryan Cruise, with whom she has two children, sons Easton and Wyatt.

It’s hard to say that went wrong with April and Ollie’s showmance after Big Brother. Their relationship reportedly ended six months after the season ended. It’s possible that the pair was affected by the stresses of living in the real world outside, which are very different from the obstacles that they faced together in the contained Big Brother environment. All in all, this is just another example of people getting romantically involved while working together on a project.

It’s possible that it’s hard for these players to fight back the attraction that they feel toward one another while working so close together on the show. In fact, many relationships that started on Big Brother have lasted for years. However, that wasn’t the case for April and Ollie.
