When viewers tuned into Big Brother 9, which was also the first and only winter/spring edition of BB, they were introduced to Matt McDonald and Adam Jasinski. At the time, Matt was a 23-year-old roofing foreman from Charlestown, Massachusetts and Adam was a 29-year-old public relations manager from Delray Beach, Florida. Due to the twist of the season, Adam and Matt had to play as a pair, meaning that they would have to compete and make nominations as a duo. However, this twist lasted until week three, when each pair was told that they could play the game as individuals.

As individual players on BB9, Matt went on to be evicted from the house on day 42. As such, he became the first jury member of the season. Meanwhile, Adam went on to make it to finale night and ended up winning Big Brother 9 against Ryan Quicksall by a 6-1 jury vote. Unfortunately, however, Adam and Matt’s lives took a turn for the worse shortly after BB9.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

According to Reality TV World, shortly after winning Big Brother 9, Adam Jasinski went on to plead guilty to possession of oxycodone with the attempt to distribute. He also happened to plead guilty to failing to file a tax return for 2008, which is the year when he won Big Brother. Then, shortly after Adam’s arrest, prosecutors also arrested Matt McDonald for allegedly being part of Adam’s drug ring. Adam was sentenced to four years in federal prison in January of 2011 while Matt served three years in federal prison. However, it seems like these two men have turned their lives around ever since.

After serving jail time, Big Brother 9 winner Adam turned his life around. He is now an addiction recovery consultant and professional interventionist in the fields of mental health and substance abuse. He also wrote a book called My Kid’s On Drugs, Now What?, which serves as a resource for parents on how to guide their children down the path of long-term sobriety. When it comes to Matt, he is now happily married to a woman named Tiffany. The couple seems to travel quite a bit to be very much in love. It is unknown what he does for a job or if he is unemployed, but it looks like he turned his life around for the better as well.

Despite these two Big Brother players being arrested shortly after their season aired, it doesn’t look like they have let that define them as people. They both seem to have turned their lives around despite what they went through. It is unknown if the pair have remained friends, despite being close allies in the game. But from the looks of it, they are both happy in their own lives today.
