Big Brother 21’s Isabella “Bella” Wang opened up her “showmance” with housemate Nick Maccarone. In a recent interview, she broke down what really happened behind closed doors before she got evicted from the house and how she feels about her methods of playing the game.

A public health analyst from Los Angeles, California, Isabella hit it off with housemate Nick, a therapist from Sewell, New Jersey. The two seemed to take a liking to each other pretty effortlessly at the beginning, as they started off cuddling at the start of the season. The romance blossomed and the two took their relationship to the bedroom, and fans of Big Brother could watch from home on the live-stream that surveillances them 24/7. Nick even told her that he loved her. Soon after, Nick had complicated feelings for Bella, as he started showing interest in another housemate, Analyse Talavera. At the end of their short-lived “showmance,” Bella began feeling jealous and afraid that Nick would turn on her to be with Analyse; after being evicted, she was able to speak about the fling without the game and alliances clouding her judgment.

On AfterBuzz TV, JC Moundui interviewed Bella and she opened about her romantic decisions on the show, especially being candid about having sex with Nick during the show. Bella said, “I think that’s for me and Nick…at the end of the day, we’re grown adults. We make adult decisions.” She then spoke about how it feels to be live-streamed 24/7 and how she feels about those intimate moments being shown to the world, saying:

“Unfortunately, we’re not behind closed doors, we’re on live-feeds… That’s the thing with being on TV 24/7. At one point, you’re just like, eh… it’s just kinda natural and you’re like, OK, I’ll just deal with it later.”

The host jokingly asked her if she felt like a “porn star” having sex on live-stream for the fans to see. She said, “No! Why should I? No, I don’t.” JC then asked her if she wanted to talk about the relationship, and she said that they’re adults who “made a consensual decision.” She then spoke about owning her decisions, saying, “You have to be OK with who you are and you can accept criticism from people and listen to that, but you make your own decisions and you live life the way you want to because it’s your life.”

Now that Bella has been evicted from the Big Brother house, the only way she’ll be able to keep up with Nick and Analyse’s relationship is by watching the show. Although Bella was feeling jealous about Nick flirting with other women on the show, there have been conversations overheard on the live-feed that Bella may have had a boyfriend at home. It seems like familiar to The Bachelorette fans, with Jed Wyatt’s situation happening simultaneously. Bella turned this into a positive situation by owning her actions, and she expressed that she’ll be waiting for Nick when he’s done with the show and she hopes that this isn’t just a “showmance,” but a genuine romance.
