5 Scorpio: Maury

Maury gives both good and bad advice in the show to the kids that he’s responsible for looking after as they go through puberty. He’s a true and passionate friend to them, but he can get easily upset and is stubborn a lot of the time.

The ghost of famous musician Duke Ellington happens to live in Nick’s attic, so Nick frequently visits him to get advice about his life. Jay is close to both Andrew and Nick even though they get frustrated with his over-the-top nature at times. He has his moments of depth throughout the series as he’s struggling to grow up like everyone else, but he tends to run away from his emotions instead of facing them.
