The Bill & Ted Face the Music cast features the original time-traveling “dudes,” but who else joins them for the third franchise installment? It’s been three decades since the titular protagonists’ “excellent adventure” and “bogus journey,” and the new film retains the same weirdly wonderful humor.

Bill & Ted Face the Music opens with the main leads attending a wedding and still trying to make their music dreams a reality. In the present, they’re married and have daughters, but Bill and Ted still feel like their lives are incomplete. Suddenly, a woman from the future shows up and reveals that the Wyld Stallyns are needed to save “reality as we know it.” Bill and Ted need to perform a banger at a specific time and place, so they meet up with their future selves to figure out what the music should be.
