Fan favorite Dora Milaje member Ayo scores her own Falcon and the Winter Soldier poster. Played by Florence Kasumba, Ayo stood out to Marvel fans the moment she told Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) to “move, or you will be moved,” in Captain America: Civil War. She later went on to play a role in Black Panther as one of the top members of the Dora Milaje, Wakanda’s elite team of all-female warriors. She fought alongside the likes of Okoye (Danai Gurira) and Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o) in the film’s final battle.

Fans were pleasantly surprise when Ayo turned up at the end of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier episode 3. Ayo traveled from Wakanda to Latvia after Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) freed Baron Zemo (Daniel Brühl) from prison. As Zemo was locked up for the murder of Wakanda’s former king, Ayo was none too pleased that Bucky had decided to liberate him. She then had a bigger part in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier episode 4, particularly in a standout fight scene that saw her and two other Doras taking on John Walker (Wyatt Russell) and Lemar Hoskins (Clé Bennett).

Fresh off that impressive showcase, Kasumba’s Ayo has scored her very own Falcon and the Winter Soldier character poster (via Disney). This comes on the heels of Walker getting his own sheet, continuing Disney+’s trend of releasing new character spotlights after major episodes. Check out Ayo’s poster down below.

As Zemo got away in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier episode 4, there’s a chance Ayo will stick around for the final two installments. Wakanda seeks justice, and her people won’t rest until Zemo is captured. Additionally, Ayo likely has some unfinished business with Bucky, since he betrayed her trust by freeing the Civil War villain. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier revealed Ayo was the one who was with Bucky when he finally broke free from his Hydra brainwashing, indicating there was once a layer of support between the two. Now Bucky’s actions have ruined it, but hopefully he can make amends before the series ends.

Ayo will likely be seen next in 2022’s Black Panther 2, which is expected to begin production sometime this year. Depending on how The Falcon and the Winter Soldier ends, there could even be some connections between the series and the film. The final two episodes of the show have a lot to wrap up beyond Ayo’s hunt for Zemo, so there’s still plenty of excitement ahead. There’s no guarantee Ayo will appear in the next episodes, but hopefully she’ll appear for one more highly-rewatchable scene.
