Boba Fett hilariously accuses Din Djarin of hijacking The Book of Boba Fett in a new parody video. The beloved Star Wars bounty hunter returned after his initial appearance on The Mandalorian. But despite getting his own show, for some reason, Lucasfilm decided to go on a narrative tangent by devoting two episodes of The Book of Boba Fett to tackle Mando and Grogu’s story — something that Boba Fett clearly doesn’t appreciate in a new fan-made clip.

The Mandalorian season 2 ended on a high note for Din; after functioning as “The Child’s” foster father, he was finally able to accomplish his mission of reuniting him with the Jedi. He wasn’t able to do it on his own, however. He had Boba Fett and Bo-Katan Kryze’s (Katee Sackhoff) help. With Mando and Grogu separated, many expected that The Mandalorian season 3 would be about the show’s titular character. So, it was surprising when they were immediately reunited on The Book of Boba Fett.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

Based on the fact that The Book of Boba Fett deliberately devoted episodes 5 and 6 to Din’s narrative, The Warp Zone came up with a hilarious parody video imagining the bounty hunters in a therapy session. Boba Fett isn’t too happy that Mando pretty much hijacked his own show, which was a legitimate issue for the latest Disney+ series. Watch the full video below:

It’s a funny bit, but it touches on serious issues fans and critics had with The Book of Boba Fett. As great as it was seeing Din back on the Star Wars forefront, many were confused and some were even frustrated that he basically took over the series. Granted that The Book of Boba Fett wasn’t as well-received as The Mandalorian, viewers were still looking forward to seeing how his arc pans out, especially since his fans had to wait so long for him to finally get his headlining project.

The question is, was this Lucasfilm’s plan all along, or was it a last-minute decision considering the issues The Book of Boba Fett was having? It seemed odd that they would decide on veering far away from its titular character’s story to tell, essentially, what could’ve been The Mandalorian season 3’s first few episodes. The least they could’ve done was stick with the story they were telling with Boba Fett and Fennec Shand instead of totally ignoring their journey to shift focus on Din and Grogu. Assuming that the series returns for a second year, hopefully, Lucasfilm learned from their mistakes and will make up for a disappointing debut season for the show.
