Bob’s Burgers has a great cast of characters that have varying personalities and some characters would get along really well together but haven’t had an opportunity to yet on the show. There are great established friendships on the show and there are even a few feuds on the show that could turn into friendships one day.

There is such a large and eccentric cast of characters in the popular animated show Bob’s Burgers that every character hasn’t had a chance to build a friendship one on one, here are some great potential pairings in the show’s future.

10 Mr. Ambrose And Louise

Mr. Ambrose is the librarian and cheer coach at the Belcher’s school and he lives for drama. He pushes students to create drama and not so subtly helps them along the way whether it be pushing Tina into attempting witchcraft or hinting to Louise that Thomas Edison had a dark past and she should use it for her science project.

These two haven’t interacted much, but Louise enjoys her drama-filled schemes just as much as Mr. Ambrose and she could have a lot more fun at school if these two had more of a friendship between teacher and student.

9 Tammy And Tina

Tammy and Tina have been frenemies since the beginning, but their relationship always seems to tip more toward enemies and it’s usually due to Tammy’s ego and not appreciating it when Tina actually attempts to be a good friend to her.

Hopefully one day these two can be actual friends, gossip about boys together since both Tammy and Tina are boy obsessed, and help each other survive the ups and downs of middle school.

8 Teddy And Mickey

Teddy is a regular at Bob’s Burgers and an odd person who he loves the Belcher family like his own family and Mickey similarly loves the Belcher family when he robbed the bank across the street from their restaurant.

Both Teddy and Mickey would drop everything to help one of the Belchers and they appreciate their support in return, but these two haven’t had any scenes together really and while at first, they might be protective of their own relationship with the Belchers they would probably make good friends eventually.

7 Louise And Mr. Fischoeder

Both Louise and Mr. Fischoeder enjoy their eccentric and sometimes harmful schemes. Louise typically feels bad after her schemes fall apart and hurt people, and sometimes Calvin Fischoeder does as well but to a lesser degree.

These two would get along well together and Louise might be a good influence on him with her reluctant acceptance that she truly does care about other people in her life.

6 Jimmy Pesto And Bob

Bob and Jimmy Pesto have restaurants directly across the street from each other and they have been feuding since the beginning of the series.

It’s odd that they have such a strong feud since their cuisine, Jimmy having an Italian restaurant and Bob having burgers, are pretty different and they shouldn’t be direct competitors. It would be nice to see these two actually become friends by the end of the series and put their feud behind them.

5 Hugo And Mr. Frond

Both Hugo and Mr. Frond are a stickler for the rules and want everything done by the book whether it’s Hugo at his health department job or Mr. Frond as a guidance counselor at the Belcher’s school. Both Hugo and Mr. Frond have issues with most of the Belcher family.

Hugo tries to constantly get the restaurant closed since he hates Bob for marrying Linda. Mr. Frond has a difficult time controlling the Belcher kids at school, particularly Louise, and they cause him a lot of trouble. These two would quickly bond over their love of order and their hatred of the Belchers.

4 Gene And Jimmy Jr.

Gene is a hilarious main character on the series and Jimmy Pesto Jr. is a hilarious recurring character that it’s a shame the two haven’t really been able to build a friendship of their own as Jimmy Jr.’s storyline usually is paired with Tina.

Gene is obsessed with playing music and Jimmy Jr. is obsessed with dancing that it only makes sense that these two would make a good pair.

3 Linda And Mr. Fischoeder

Linda Belcher and Calvin Fischoeder have a lot in common and yet their friendship hasn’t really been established on the show yet.

Both Linda and Mr. Fischoeder love performing whether it be dancing or singing and the two attempted to perform together once before it all fell apart. The two also love eccentric schemes and it would be great to see them plan something together.

2 Louise And Boo Boo

Tina was a fan of the boyband Boys 4 Now and Louise reluctantly fell in love with bandmember Boo Boo, although she tries her best to hide it and will never admit it. Louise took her obsession in an odd direction and decided she had to slap Boo Boo, which she did, and he remembered the next time they saw each other.

It would be fun to see these two actually become friends and Louise not have to slap him every time she sees him and the two could have a normal friendship.

1 Mort And Gayle

Although Mort is a regular at Bob’s Burgers, he and Linda’s sister Gayle haven’t had much time to interact but they could make a great friendship or even romantic relationship.

Both Mort and Gayle are pretty lonely and have interesting home lives as Mort has a stylish apartment above the funeral home he owns and Gayle has a small apartment filled with cats. Something about these two characters is a little off, but they would fit each other well.
