The hit FOX animated comedy series Bob’s Burgers is currently airing its twelfth season and continues to bring the Belcher house down with laughs. The series has passed over 225 episodes and is not showing any signs of stopping. Recently the show released its debut trailer for its full-length movie, The Bob’s Burgers Movie, which is slated to hit theaters May 22, 2022.

Bob’s Burgers is a triple-stacked burger of goodness. Creator Lauren Bouchard has the talent to imagine playful and hilarious characters like the eldest Belcher child, Tina. Tina is constantly looking for love and horses but oftentimes gets stuck in a long “uhh”. Tina is a teen going through the usual difficulties of school and adolescence which lead her to say some ridiculously funny lines.

Tina-Uhhh…

“Uhhh…”

The very sensual and strong Tina Belcher voiced by Dan Mintz has a running gag through every season. Tina is quite an emotional rollercoaster of emotions and is often yelling aloud a long “uhh” that continues for at least five seconds.

This line debuted in the opening of episode four, “Sexy Dance Fighting”. It is a classic Tina line to all Bob’s Burgers fans. Tina’s monotone “uhh” groan embodies the personality of Tina. At one moment she’s ecstatic and the next she is hopeless. Nothing beats a very funny long-drawn-out Tina “uhh”.

A Concerning Itch

“My Crotch Is Itchy.”

While Tina’s “uhh” is her trademark line, her first comical quote came in the first episode of Bob’s Burgers, “Human Flesh”. In the first minute of the episode, Tina tells her family that her crotch is itchy. This is just a few seconds after her father, Bob, asks her to work the grill.

This quote makes some people squirm with the visualization of a cook working a grill with an itchy crotch. However, it is too incredibly funny and impossible not to laugh. Who tells their entire family that their crotch is itchy? Well, Tina. Her strong personality is transparent as she is not shy of sharing her itchy feelings, both applaudable and frightening from a young girl.

The Charm Bomb

“Time For The Charm Bomb To Explode.”

Incoming! Tina drops the “charm bomb” in the season two episode, “Moody Foodie”. The local restaurant owners are getting put out of business by the reviews of one food critic called the Moody Foodie voiced by the incredible Patton Oswalt. Next on the list to be reviewed is the Belcher’s restaurant.

Bob’s fellow restaurant owners warn him that the Foodie is in disguise when he visits. When they see the signature blue handkerchief that he wears, Tina turns on the charm. At least she tries. Instead, Tina awkwardly speaks in fragments, stares at him, and creeps him out. It is so funny seeing how bad Tina and the kids are as workers.

The Confused Toaster

“Our Toaster Is Also Confused. It Doesn’t Know Why We Put Bagels In It.”

In the sixth episode of season three of Bob’s Burgers, considered its best season by IMDb, Wonder Wharf gets a mechanical shark as its new headline attraction. The shark gets free and it’s like Jaws.

The entire town assembles at the restaurant to devise a plan to stop the shark from destroying the whole town. Tina pleads to her father to save the shark. Bob tells Tina that it’s “dumber than our toaster” to which Tina replies with this hysterical line. The toaster is confused by the family putting bagels in it. Not sure how, but for Tina, the toaster and shark are confused and not a threat.

Racking Up Fantasy Hours

“I’ve Logged Over 3,000 Fantasy Hours On My Relationship.”

In the 17th episode of season 3, “Two For Tina”, a fight to win Tina’s affection ensues between the dance school wonder Josh and Jimmy Jr., the toxic boy from across the street. Tina is weighing her options as to who she will go to the school dance with.

Tina allows the boys to do things to try to win her affection. She loves boys and cannot stop imagining them as she says in her “dream journal”. Every person loves to be admired and sought after but Tina takes it to an entirely different level with over “3,000 fantasy hours”. Excessive for most, but not for Tina.

Tina Gives Jimmy Junior The Business

“Your Ass Is Grass And I’m Gonna Mow It.”

The Belcher-Pesto feud gets put to the ultimate test in Season 19’s “Family Fracas”. To win a new car, the Belcher family goes on Family Fracas and competes with other families in crazy challenges. The Belchers keep winning, but suddenly lose to the Pesto family.

In an off-branch show called “Pam’s Court”, the Belchers present their case that the Pestos cheated. The comical case for this one is how fired up and intense Tina gets in challenges. She tells Jimmy Jr., the boy she constantly crushes on, that his “ass is grass”. It’s not certain to Jimmy Jr. what she means making it even funnier because he’s scared out of his mind.

Kids Run An Underground Casino

“Got To Keep The Players Happy. Flirt A Little, Wink A Little.”

Continuing in season three in “The Kids Run The Restaurant” is another waggish Tina quote. In this episode, Bob and Linda leave the kids alone at home while they go to the ER. In a few hours, the kids create an underground casino in their basement.

Louise is running the casino and tasks Tina with schmoozing with the players, providing them service to keep them happy and playing. This involves handing out towels and soda and even flirting a little and winking a little. Tina is not usually one for having a smooth charm but somehow she flawlessly operates in the casino setting. Her suaveness is abnormal which makes viewers smirk and laugh.

Boyz 4 Now Cause Poopy Pants

“My Heart Just Pooped Its Pants.”

In “Boyz 4 Now”, Tina and Louise go to the Boyz 4 Now concert. They spend one of the best Belcher sibling moments when Louise falls for one of the boys. Originally, Louise despised the music, band, and thought of going with her super-fan sister.

This almost never happened when their Aunt Gayle called at the beginning of the episode to say she couldn’t take them to the concert. When Tina heard the heart-breaking news, her heart instead “pooped its pants”. As Tina is saying this amusing line, she is lying on the floor in crushing defeat. It makes all fans laugh up an uproar.

The Black Garlic Emergency

“A No Is Just A Yes Upside-Down.”

In one of the funniest lines in the entire show’s run, Tina tries to convince the owner of the specialty food store Fig Jam to sell her and Louise some “emergency black garlic”. Unfortunately, the kids were banned from the store days prior.

As owner Ray, voiced by Andy Daly who voices the character J.R. Scheimpough in Inside Job, continues to utter “NO!” to the Belcher girls, Tina tells him, “A no is just a yes upside-down”. This is in no way true and coming from the left-field wall even for Tina. It is such a poor attempt to win the black garlic making the line so funny and one that can be said in everyday conversations by fans.

Tina Rides Jericho

“I Brought My Own Horse. His Name Is Jericho, And I Don’t Know If You Can Tell, But He’s Imaginary.”

In the weird and wildly funny season six episode, “The Horse Rider-er”, Bob and Linda scrap up enough money to send Tina to a local horse camp. Before leaving, Tina talks with her imaginary horse Jericho voiced by Ant-Man himself, Paul Rudd.

However, just before she is supposed to ride her difficult horse Plops, Jericho shows up looking majestic with the sun setting behind him. Tina tells her trainer that she will be riding Jericho. This Tina quote is hilarious because she spent all the time and money for the camp just to ride an imaginary horse in front of her parents and friends. Odd but it’s classic Tina being Tina.
