The world of Borderlands 2 is filled with entertaining and charming characters. The game gives a good selection of playable characters that have their own styles of fighting and interacting. Among these characters, one of the most popular ones is a figure named Zero.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

Borderlands 2 Skill Tree Branch: Sniping

This first branch of the skill tree mainly focuses on the guns that players use when playing as zero. Because of Zero’s tendency to use stealth in battle, the use of sniper rifles will pair best with his abilities and skills. Many of the abilities in this branch help players increase their critical hit damage and accuracy. Choosing this branch will allow players to be in a support role where they can stay behind the action and take out enemies one by one using sniper rifles and other long-range weapons.

Borderlands 2 Skill Tree Branch: Cunning

This branch of the skill tree mainly focuses on increasing the effects of Zero’s action move and helping his melee ability. Zero’s action skill, “decepti0n,” projects a hologram of Zero while he turns invisible for a few seconds in order to sneak up on enemies. This branch helps this action skill by having it cause damage to nearby enemies when activated and giving Zero the ability to throw kunai while invisible. This branch also gives Zero’s melee attack a boost by allowing it to mark enemies and increasing its damage. Choosing this branch will allow players to fully take advantage of Zero’s action skill in fights as well as giving a slight boost to melee attacks overall.

Borderlands 2 Skill Tree Branch: Bloodshed

The final branch of the skill tree gives a large boost to melee attacks and health regeneration. This branch gives certain actions that can increase melee damage and regenerate some health that has been lost. This branch also gives some boosts to movement speed which can greatly help players who want to take advantage of melee attacks. Choosing this branch will allow players to play more of an up-close approach to combat by encouraging them to use Zero’s action skill and melee. Zero may not be the best melee character in the game, but using these skills makes him pretty close to it.

For players who have used Zero for a bit and have an understanding of his skill tree, it may be preferable to use a combination of all three branches to try and get a well-rounded character. It is recommended that players experiment with these combinations to see what works best for them and how they play.
