A new massive update has arrived in Borderlands 3 that allows players to replay through seasonal events. This guide will show players how they can access this new content. Borderlands 3 recently introduced tons of quality-of-life improvements to the title. For example, players are now able to participate in crossplay for those players who own an Xbox, PC, Mac, and Stadia version of the game. Not only that but the level cap has been increased to level 72, providing more of a reason to return back to the game to max it out. Although, arguably one of the biggest changes to come to the game is the removal of limited-time seasonal events. This guide will show players how they can go back and play through older seasonal events.

Seasonal events exist so players are pressured to return back to a game to collect exclusive content. This content is typically only available for a limited time and will disappear once the event comes to a close. This has been a practice in tons of titles such as Apex Legends, Overwatch, and Fortnite. It’s all about pushing players to return for this special event. Borderlands 3 has recently released an update that allows players to play any seasonal event at any point, removing this pressure to stay on top of new content. Here is how players can access this content.

How To Replay Seasonal Events in Borderlands 3

Currently, the events that players are able to choose from are Bloody Harvest, Broken Hearts Day, and Revenge of the Cartels. The game is currently hosting its re-run of the Revenge of the Cartels with its Revengence sequel. It’s fairly simple to go back and play these events. From the main menu, players are able to toggle on and off which seasonal event they would like to be active. Players can opt to turn them on to complete them and turn them back off when they are completed. It’s likely future events will be added to this list when they occur.

Borderlands 3 is one of the first major titles to remove the seasonal time limit with these special events. It’s incredibly stressful to have to force the player to take time out of their busy schedule to complete seasonal content before it’s removed. Hopefully, this can set a new standard and push other developers to adopt this. Sometimes players just don’t have the time. Remove that stress and let players play when they can.

Borderlands 3 is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Mac, and Google Stadia.
