It’s the second time around for Bloody Harvest in Borderlands 3. Maurice the saurian is up to his usual antics, messing with forces unknown to most, and kicking up more mayhem around the Borderlands. Ghosts are haunting bandits on every planet, so killing them will be our ticket to the Heck Hole.

Every planet has a handful of bosses roaming the area or camping out in their hideaways. Though this did not keep them from becoming inhabited by ghosts. Like last year, Bloody Harvest has a series of challenges for players to complete and earn rewards upon doing so. While some events have provided weapons, Bloody Harvest mostly awards cosmetics. A new award is unlocked every few challenges completed. Killing a few haunted bosses such as Borman Nates is one of those challenges. Here’s where you can find him.

Where to Find Haunted Borman Nates in Borderlands 3

Just because a boss or rare-spawn enemy is haunted, this won’t actually change where they spawn or how they fight for that matter. Each haunted boss/rare-spawn can be found within their usual location, so don’t worry about having to search high and low for them. Haunted enemies release the spirits hiding within them, which will attack afterward. Badass ghosts fire projectiles so if anything, that’s probably the only difference about the fight. In the case of bosses and rare-spawns, the ghosts are usually badasses. Players can tell what kind of ghost is inhabiting the enemy based on the color. Regular ghosts are green and badasses are red. So just in case players can’t find Borman Nates immediately, just look for someone with a red aura surrounding them. Rare-spawns are not always guaranteed. If that red aura is nowhere to be seen, reset the area and try again.

Players can find Borman Nates on Promethea, at the Meridian Outskirts. The outskirts are the very first location players arrive to after landing on Promethea. There are a few side quests available upon arrival the first time around. One of these side quests is given by a young woman/refugee whose parents were killed by two Maliwan war criminals. Toward the end of the quest, players are led to a COV stronghold on the left side of the spillways. This Is where Borman Nates is located; directly left of the room with the fast-travel station. This stronghold is elevated high above the ground, so try not to miss the elevator against the walls of the spillway. Borman Nates isn’t very strong, and his strength is about the same as maybe a badass enemy. Playing on a high Mayhem level, he might accidentally die in the crossfire before even noticing him. Borman Nates has a higher chance of dropping the Psycho Stabber pistol, the Cutsman sub-machine gun, and the Sawbar assault-rifle.

Borderlands 3 is available on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC.
