The Voo Lota Shrine is one of the Shrines located near Rito Village in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and players can unlock it by completing the “Recital at Warbler’s Nest” Shrine Quest. This quest is part of a chain that becomes available once Link has defeated Divine Beast Vah Medoh, at which point a Rito woman named Amali will appear on the wooden lookout platform near the Akh Va’Quot Shrine. Link will have to cook up some Salmon Meuniere to complete the quest, and fortunately for him, he’ll be able to get the required materials as the quest progresses.

Amali will ask Link to find her daughter, Kheel, who she suspects has gone to Warbler’s Nest. This will begin Breath of the Wild’s “Find Kheel” Side Quest, which players can complete by gliding down to Warbler’s Nest located just west of Rito Village on the other side of the lake. Kheel will be waiting there for her sisters, who haven’t shown up for their singing rehearsal, and she’ll enlist Link to help her track them down. However, her sister Genli won’t sing until she’s eaten some Salmon Meuniere, and Link will receive the “Recital at Warbler’s Nest” Shrine Quest.

Kheel’s sisters will give Link the necessary ingredients to make Salmon Meuniere, which saves Breath of the Wild players the trouble of gathering the recipe’s ingredients themselves. Genli can be found in the kitchen at Rito Village and tells Link that her sisters should be over at Rito Village’s general store, the Slippery Falcon, getting the ingredients for her Salmon Meuniere. Link will find one of the sisters, Cree, still in the store, and she’ll give him some Goat Butter to make the dish so she can head to rehearsal. Cree will also give Link hints about where her other sisters have gone.

Notts can be found singing by herself on an outcropping of the massive rock Vah Medoh is now perched on, and she’ll give Link some Tabantha Wheat for Breath of the Wild’s Salmon Meuniere recipe. The last sister, Kotts, is fishing in the pond near the entrance to Rito Village and will hand over the Hearty Salmon she caught when Link speaks with her. With all of the sisters found and recipe’s ingredients collected, Link can head back to the Rito Village kitchen to cook up the Salmon Meuniere by combining the Tabantha Wheat, Goat Butter, and Hearty Salmon in the kitchen’s cooking pot.

Once Genli has eaten, all five sisters will gather at Warbler’s Nest to rehearse, at which point Link can return there as well to listen to their song. They’ll be standing in a straight line, and when Link speaks to them, they each take turns singing one note, revealing the secret to unlocking the Voo Lota Shrine. The order they sing is 4 5 3 1 2, corresponding to the numbered stones behind them.

Players can then either speak with Kheel or chop down a nearby tree to obtain a Korok Leaf in BOTW. Finally, by standing on the Shrine Platform and blowing air through the stones in the order of the song, Link can play the song as well, revealing the Voo Lota Shrine on the other side of the stones. At this point, the five sisters will return home to tell their mom about the Shrine, completing Breath of the Wild’s Recital at Warbler’s Nest Shrine Quest.
