Here’s a guide to Brianna Hildebrand’s movie and TV show roles outside of Deadpool. The Texas-born Brianna Hildebrand made her acting debut as Jen in web series Annie Undocumented in 2014, before making her film debut in 2015 drama Prism from director Cal Robertson. In 2016 she found a breakout role in Deadpool, where she played Negasonic Teenage Warhead, a member of the X-Men who – alongside Colossus – reluctantly help Ryan Reynolds’ Wade out in the finale.

Brianna Hildebrand’s brooding performance combined with the character’s awesome name and powers made her a fan favorite, and she returned with a larger role for Deadpool 2. The sequel features the character in a relationship with Yukio (Shiori Kutsuna), making them the first same-sex couple seen in a superhero movie. While Deadpool 3 is currently in development at Disney, it’s unknown if Negasonic Teenage Warhead will return also.

Brianna Hildebrand has done plenty of notable work outside of the Deadpool franchise. Following the first movie, she starred in First Girl I Loved, an indie drama about a girl named Anne (Dylan Gelula) who develops a crush on classmate Sasha (Hildebrand). The movie received praise for its tackling of the subject matter, and the actress followed with a lead role in Tragedy Girls. This sees two friends who run the titular blog committing murders themselves to gain more followers and is a meta take on the slasher genre.

In 2017 Brianna Hildebrand appeared in the second season of The Exorcist, a horror series based on the classic movie that was much better than it had any right to be. Hilderbrand played Verity on the show and is one of the foster children in the care of Andrew Kim (John Cho). In 2019 Hildebrand appeared in misfiring children’s comedy Playing With Fire, alongside John Cena and Keegan-Michael Key. Despite receiving mostly poor reviews it ended up performing quite well and is one of Brianna Hidrebrand’s few roles where she’s seen with long hair, which was really a wig.

Brianna Hildrebrand’s most recent projects include dark drama Runt, which tragically proved to be the final role for Cameron Boyce, who passed away in 2019. Hildrebrand took on a leading role in Netflix drama series Trinkets in 2019, playing a teenage kleptomaniac, with the show charting her unexpected friendships with the other teens she meets in Shoplifters Anonymous. The show came to an end after two seasons in 2020. Brianna Hidrebrand’s next project is set to be drama The Time Capsule.
