Here’s a guide to the career of Bill & Ted Face The Music star Brigette Lundy-Paine. While they only have a relatively small list of credits, Brigette Lundy-Paine has been very busy in the last five years. They made their debut in the third episode of MTV series One Bad Choice in 2015 and after a small role in the Joaquin Phoenix / Emma Stone drama Irrational Man, they landed a lead role in 2016 comedy Margot Vs Lily, a YouTube series from Nike.

The show cast Brigette Lundy-Paine as Margot, who makes a bet with overachieving sister Lily (Samantha Marie Ware, Doom Patrol) that she can make a successful webseries, while the latter has to make some friends. Following the series, their next projects included the short One Night Only: Lights Out and a small part playing the girlfriend of Christoph Waltz’s character in 2017’s Downsizing.

2017 would prove to be a busy year for Brigette Lundy-Paine. They played a supporting role alongside Brie Larson, Naomi Watts and Woody Harrelson in the drama The Glass Castle, which was adapted from the biographical book of the same name by journalist Jeannette Walls. Their next movie was The Wilde Wedding, starring Glenn Close, Partick Stewart and John Malkovich. Despite featuring such a great cast, the comedy itself was met with mixed reviews. Brigette Lundy-Paine later made their breakthrough thanks to Atypical, which also debuted in 2017.

Atypical is a Netflix drama that revolves around Sam (Keir Gilchrist, It Follows), a teenager with autism who when the show begins decides it time to find a girlfriend. Brigette Lundy-Paine plays Sam’s sister Casey, who is shown to pick on him but refuses to let anyone else do the same. In the second season, Casey meets and eventually falls for classmate Izzie (Fivel Stewart), with the two making their romance public in season 3. The show has received mostly positive reviews for its handling of autism and LGBTQ themes and it will return for a final season in 2021.
