Vanguard, the highly anticipated addition to the Call of Duty franchise, releases on November 5, 2021. The story takes place during World War II and follows a group of elite soldiers as they fight for victory. Filled with drama and action, the game’s immersive elements work well due to the incredible actors who lend their voices and likenesses to the characters on screen.

Fans of film and television may recognize them from some projects they have been a part of. If players are impressed with the talents of the actors who portray the characters in the game, they will likely enjoy other work they have done.

Voicing the main protagonist Arthur Kingsley, Chiké Okonkwo provides his voice and likeness in the role of the leader of Task Force One. Previously, he portrayed Will in 2016’s The Birth of a Nation. More recently, he began starring in the new NBC sci-fi drama La Brea as the character Ty Coleman.

The character is a voice of reason in many scenarios, and due to Okonkwo’s excellent performance in the role, Coleman is a fan favorite. He is brave and kind to his fellow survivors, and it is largely because of Okonkwo’s acting that the character is so beloved.

Portraying Henry Baker in Vanguard, Steven Brand has appeared on many television shows, but he is perhaps best known for his portrayal of Dr. Gabriel Valack in the television series Teen Wolf. He becomes an antagonist in the latter half of the series, and his interest in learning about the circumstances surrounding the main characters is a source of drama in the episodes in which he takes part.

Brand gives a stellar performance as the complex character that makes the villain more sympathetic, even if audiences do not agree with his actions. He is one of the reasons “Lie Ability” is perhaps the best Teen Wolf episode of the fifth season.

Though it is true that the character is excellently written, Vladimir’s journey would not have had the same effect without the grounded portrayal put forth by Nikolai Nikolaeff. The amazing characters in the show are a major reason why fans want Daredevil to be brought back into the MCU, and Vladimir Ranskahov is a great example of what the show had to offer.

As the character of Mateo in Call of Duty: Vanguard, Christopher Rivas has exceptional talent in the world of acting, and he has showcased this in his role as Oscar on Call Me Kat. Playing the role of Steiner, a prominent but brief antagonist in Vanguard, Ray Proscia has had a storied career so far. One of his most memorable characters is Dr. Stan Lipschitz, a therapist to Louis Litt in Suits. The figure is a memorable one because of his thoughtful nature and the useful advice he gives to one of the main characters.

Proscia does a fantastic job in the part, and it is evident that he can play a variety of roles. Dr. Lipschitz is not a prominent enough figure to be considered one of the best recurring characters on Suits, but his presence adds a lot to a scene.
