This still rings true for last year’s Call Of Duty: Black Ops: Cold War, which pits a co-op group of four against an extra-dimensional zombie army in a parallel side story. Ever since the game’s release, developer Treyarch and associates have been adding waves of additional content to this latest iteration of Zombies Mode, such as the recently added Mauer Der Toten map, as part of the upcoming Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War mid-season update.

Apparently, there are going to be more additions to Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War aside from a new location for players to engage in zombie slaying. Noted Call Of Duty news leaker TheMW2Ghost (via Twitter) posted word of a new perk called Death Perception, which will allow players to see enemy zombies better thanks to a bright outline. Additional upgrade tiers that will come with the perk include the minimap updating quicker, enemies now giving danger indicators when standing behind a player, a 20% increase in looted salvage, and armor penetration damage is increased by 10%.

This is just part of a wealth of new content coming to Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War as part of the Season 5 update, as Treyarch recently posted a roadmap for both it and the free-to-play battle royale spin-off Call Of Duty: Warzone. Black Ops Cold War’s multiplayer is set to gain a new game mode called Double Agent, along with bringing back the popular Demolition mode from past installments. A flamethrower is also coming as a new scorestreak perk along with five new multiplayer maps, including a new region for Outbreak mode dubbed Collateral.

The new addition mentioned in TheMW2Ghost’s leak may seem relatively minor amid all of this exciting new content coming to Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, but the new Death Perception perk sounds like it could be handy in trying to scope out enemy zombies in the heat of battle. Players will be able to activate this new perk, as well as dive into the other new additions coming to Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, when the Season 5 update launches on August 12.
