At the end of January, Cheer 2 fans were upset that they couldn’t hear the sound in episode eight, and many viewers didn’t know how to solve the problem. Netflix’s Cheer 2 was one of the most highly anticipated premieres of the year, thanks to a successful season 1, which was released back in January of 2020. While Netflix is a robust streaming platform, it occasionally has technical issues which negatively impact the viewing experiences of subscribers.

The Netflix docuseries Cheer captivates viewers as it follows Navarro College’s successful cheerleading team. Cameras showed the squad trying to make it to the nationals in Daytona, as the popular junior college was training to compete for a 15th title. All of the onscreen action really drew viewers in. The small town of Corsicana, Texas was put on the map thanks to the squad’s 14th win at Daytona, and Cheer showed the extremely competitive side of cheerleading. With Cheer 2 officially out for fans to watch, some viewers were more than ready to binge the eight-episode season. Unfortunately, the season’s technical issue caused some frustration.

Netflix subscribers ran into a major problem when they tuned in to watch the final episode of season 2, due to some serious audio issues. Cheer 2 viewers took to Twitter to share their disdain about the technical problem. Many Netflix users who watch Cheer revealed that they were having major issues thanks to an audio delay of 10-15 seconds. The sound didn’t match what was happening onscreen. Thankfully, the Netflix team was working to resolve the issue.

While Netflix staff members were trying to rectify the problem, viewers shared that there was a workaround to help resolve the issue. Cheer 2 fans who are still having an issue can go to the audio selection section and then choose English in the audio description area. After choosing English, they should hit the “Apply” button on the bottom right. As of now, the streaming service has not been able to fix the problem, but it’s still working on a solution.

Even with the technical issues, Cheer 2 has still won over viewers who were excited to see how the team fared at Daytona. Sadly, the cheer squad never made it to the mat due to COVID-19. All the squad members’ hard work was for nothing after the virus emerged, causing the athletic committee to cancel the competition. Fans can still enjoy the first seven episodes with no audio problems, and if they choose to wait to watch episode eight, Netflix will probably fix the audio delay problem soon.
