Judy Greer has appeared in over a hundred movies and TV shows since she began her Hollywood career in 1997. One of her earliest roles was in the 1998 romcom, Kissing A Fool, starring David Schwimmer, Jason Lee, and Mili Avital. The Universal Pictures movie was a complete flop, but Greer would continue her career working as a co-star in comedies and romcoms during the 1990s and 2000s. In the 2000s, she branched out and began work in more serious roles, such as the psychological thriller, I Love Your Work, and the 2002 Japanese fantasy movie, The Cat Returns.

10 Cheryl Tunt (Archer)

Cheryl/Carol/Cristal/ Cherlene Tunt is Malory Archer’s mentally unstable secretary. The arsonist and multimillionaire descendant of slave-owners, Cheryl loves to watch things burn. Among her other hobbies are glue-sniffing, enjoying physical and emotional abuse, and shouting down people who think they are her supervisor. Cheryl is a very memorable character because she has no good qualities.

Like her equally mentally unstable uncle, she enjoys hurting people and destroying their sanity. She is also the worst person to inherit a multimillionaire fortune, because, unlike her brother, she is never going to use it for anything worthwhile.

9 Kitty Sanchez (Arrested Development)

After her wonky breast augmentation, Kitty began flashing everyone around her while shouting, “Spring break! Woo!” Thinking them to be attractive, Kitty was eager to show them off, mistaking people’s repulsion for attraction. After she flashes people, Kitty criticizes them for only paying attention to her breasts. In one such moment, she admonishes Michael for not looking at her face during a conversation even after she lifted her top. Kitty is known for being unpredictable, so the Bluth family tries their hardest to placate her angry tantrums, not wanting Kitty to go to the authorities.

8 Ingrid Nelson (It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia)

In a role where she is not playing the unstable co-star, Greer plays Ingrid Nelson in two episodes of It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia. In fact, she plays the sane ex-best friend to Dee Reynolds, who is jealous of Ingrid’s business success. She owns her own boutique line when she reconnects with Dee. Dee had spent their time at school trying to break Ingrid’s self-esteem so that she could feel better about herself. However, this backfired and only made Ingrid more desperate for success. so Dee sets out to destroy her friend once again.

Cruelly, Dee refuses to call her Ingrid, preferring the childhood nickname that denigrated her as a high schooler.

7 Myra Melnick/ Bridget Schmidt/ Danny (Two And A Half Men)

Judy Greer appears in a few episodes of Two And A Half Men as three different characters. In the first, as Myra Melnick, she is Herb’s sister who hates her brother’s wife. She uses Charlie for a brief fling before her own wedding, disappointing Charlie who liked her and wanted more. In the second instance, she plays Bridget Schmidt, Walden Schmidt’s ex-wife who becomes obsessive when she tries to get Walden back, but he rejects her. And finally, in one episode of season nine, she plays Danny, a lesbian in a relationship who reminds Walden of his ex-wife, Bridget. He tries to seduce Danny, subconsciously trying to get back with Bridget.

6 Becky Freely (Miss Guided)

Greer actually starred as the protagonist in the 2008 TV series, Miss Guided. Greer played Becky Freely, a guidance counselor who now works at her old high school where she was bullied by the popular kids. But when former head cheerleader, Lisa, returns as an English teacher, Freely, who is still a nerd at heart, must relive high school all over again. The series was canceled after only one season and seven episodes. It also co-stars Chris Parnell, who would return to co-star with Greer on Archer.

5 Wendy Park (Glenn Martin, DDS)

Premiering on Nick at Nite, Glenn Martin, DDS was an American-Canadian stop-motion adult animated sitcom about a dentist and his family on a cross-country road trip intended to bring them closer together. The show aired for only two seasons and was co-created by former Disney chief executive, Michael Eisner. Greer stars as Wendy Park, a North Korean teenager who works as eleven-year-old, Courtney Martin’s assistant. Produced more than a decade ago, white characters were not questioned for voicing minority roles at the time. The series was not popular and only lasted for two seasons before it was canceled.

4 Connie Grabowski (Mad Love)

In another short-lived TV series where Greer as a protagonist, Mad Love was a CBS sitcom created by Matt Tarses. Spanning only thirteen episodes, the 2011 series follows four New Yorkers in their thirties who fall in love and their friends’ reactions to their newfound relationship. The show had four main protagonists: Kate, Ben, Connie, and Larry. It followed a Friends format, where all four friends met daily at a local hangout spot to discuss their day. It also starred Chris Parnell once more as Judy Greer’s co-star. Jason Biggs (American Pie) stars as Ben and Sarah Chalke (Scrubs) as Kate.

3 Luna (Let’s Go Luna)

Let’s Go Luna is a Canadian-American educational TV series that airs on PBS Kids. Greer voices protagonist Luna, the Earth’s magical Moon who loves to guide a frog (Andy), wombat (Leo), and butterfly (Carmen) on their worldwide adventure. Luna visits the animals to teach them about the cultures and traditions of the world. The 2018 series aired a total of thirty-eight episodes, after which a second season was confirmed. The show was created by Joe Murray who also created Rocko’s Modern Life and Camp Lazlo.

2 Maggie Lang (Ant-Man & Ant-Man And The Wasp)

In the 2015 movie Ant-Man and the 2018 movie Ant-Man And The Wasp, Judy Greer plays Scott Lang’s ex-wife. In Ant-Man, Maggie is engaged to police officer Jim Paxton. Later on, in Ant-Man And The Wasp, Maggie is married to Paxton. She is also mother to Scott’s daughter, Cassie, who, canonically, is a member of Young Avengers and The Initiative. Cassie has the same powers as her father, Scott.

Although one of the most widely-recognized movies where she plays a minor character, Greer has, unfortunately, very little lines or screen time in both movies.

1 Karen Nelson (Halloween)

After starring in Carrie in 2013 as Miss Desjardin, Greer played Laurie Strode’s daughter in Halloween (2018) which is the eleventh installment of the movie franchise. Greer co-starred alongside Jamie Lee Curtis and original Michael Myers actor Nick Castle. Greer plays Karen, who was taken away by the state when she was twelve. Now an adult, Karen is estranged from her mother, because of her mother’s alcoholism and her trauma following her experience with Michael Myers. Her mother rarely leaves her fortified house, but still keeps in close communication with Karen’s daughter, Allyson.
