Chris Pratt has shared just how terrifying his co-star Sam Neill can be in a new photo from the Jurassic World: Dominion press junket. The dinosaur-packed Jurassic Park universe sequel takes place four years after the events of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, which saw the destruction of the home of the original paleo-theme parks, Isla Nublar. It also followed the reintroduction of dinosaurs into the world at large, forcing humans to learn to coexist alongside them. The third instalment in the Jurassic World series, and the sixth in the overarching Jurassic Park franchise, is set to have its long-awaited premiere this summer after suffering numerous delays due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Directed and co-written by Jurassic World‘s Colin Trevorrow, with original Jurassic Park director Steven Spielberg acting as an executive producer, Dominion promises to be a nostalgic-trip for the both new and longtime fans of the series. Jurassic World: Dominion not only features Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard reprising their roles as Owen Grady and Claire Dearing, but also sees the return of Jurassic Park alumni Neill, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum back as their original characters of Alan Grant, Ellie Sattler, and Ian Malcolm, respectively. The star-studded cast also includes B.D Wong returning as geneticist Dr. Henry Wu, as well as Daniella Pineda, Omar Sy, Justice Smith and Isabella Sermon reprising their roles from earlier Jurassic World entries to fend-off against the prehistoric predators.

However, apparently it isn’t just genetically regenerated dinosaurs that have Pratt worried. Sharing a selfie with Neill from the Jurassic World: Dominion press junket on Instagram, Pratt looks visibly concerned by his co-star’s seemingly sinister hand on his shoulder. He jokingly elaborates that, despite Neill’s “iconic” status, it “does not however excuse the sleeper hold he put on me after this picture … I peed my pants Sam. I want you to think about that.” Check out the post below:

Jurassic World: Dominion’s marketing has started ramping up over the last few months, with Pratt managing to grab the selfie with Neill during the press junket for the upcoming blockbuster. As well as releasing its first official Dominion trailer during the 2022 Super Bowl, Universal had also previously released a five-minute “prologue” for the film ahead of screenings of F9 before heading online. The movie even managed to secure a Jurassic World-themed crossover with a filmed promotion for the Winter Olympics, featuring a worried skier being pursued by a raptor and a T-Rex.

Pratt’s post proves that the relationship between the Jurassic World franchise star and Neill is clearly a very amicable one, with a tendency towards joking confrontation. This is possibly a result of both actors being considered the lead stars of their respective Jurassic trilogies. For fans of the Jurassic Park saga, Pratt’s wholesome Instagram post will certainly generate further excitement for the film. Indeed, seeing the two Jurassic heroes together may make some devotees all the more impatient to witness the two characters interact properly on the big screen and face dinosaurs together. However, it remains to be seen whether Dr. Alan Grant and Owen Grady will share the same friendly chemistry in Jurassic World: Dominion as the actors who portray them. With the film releasing on June 10, fans will not have to wait long to find out.
