Nintendo has released Clubhouse Games, a compilation of 51 classic board games that can be played with friends. These games consisting of titles like Four-in-a-Row, Mancala, Texas Hold’em, Chess, and Dominoes. Some of these titles can be played online with friends. Here’s how players can set up an online lobby.

The game was initially revealed during a Nintendo Direct and was met with positive reception. This is the perfect game for more casual gamers who wish to put all their board games into one location. Players can also play locally and online with their friends. Hours of fun can be met with this title considering there are over 50 playable titles included. Plenty of these consist of card games and toy versions of activities like boxing or cart racing. Players can play with one system or use multiple systems to prevent screen watching during critical plays for games of President or Last Card. Playing Online on Clubhouse Games

When booting up Clubhouse Games, head over to the main menu. One player will be able to host and start an Online Play Lobby. From the game menu, select Online. Select Play with Friends and then Create a Lobby. Three players who own Clubhouse Games can join the lobby by going to Play With Friends and selecting Choose a Lobby. Make sure you have each other added on the Nintendo Switch beforehand. Here is how the online multiplayer works with online games. The number of players supported will vary for each game in the collection.

• 8 games support up 4 players via Local Play or Online Play.
• 3 games and Piano support Mosaic Mode, where you can use up to 4 Nintendo Switch systems in Local Play to extend the play area in a variety of ways.

Clubhouse Games is a perfect way to kill some time playing with friends. It’s fortunate that the title has an online multiplayer mode due to being unable to physically visit a friend’s home during the quarantine. Some of these games have existed for well over 100 years and continue to be enjoyable to this day. Also, players will need a Nintendo Switch Online subscription to play.
