Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Twitch streamer has been banned by the live streaming service for revealing themselves during a match. It is not uncommon for popular streamers to be banned on the platform. In fact, just this month, both popular streamers Disguised Toast and Pokimane have been reportedly suspended from Twitch due to DMCA violations. Now, another streamer has been banned for an arguably more severe violation.

One of the video games often streamed on Twitch is multiplayer first-person shooter Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. This game pits two teams against each other in different modes. In competitive mode, two teams of five players compete in several rounds to either plant or defuse a bomb. The first team that wins a set number of map victories wins the overall match. Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is often streamed on Twitch, partially due to the online multiplayer first-person shooter having a large esports following. One of the popular esports teams that compete in CS:GO is the above-60, seniors-only esports team, the Golden Snipers.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

As reported by Dexerto, a small Counter-Strike: Global Offensive streamer has been banned from Twitch for pulling down their pants to shave themselves during a match. Streamer csgoambi only started streaming around April of last year and has a small following. For reasons not clear, during a round of CS:GO on January 27, csgoambi fully exposed themselves to their audience and shaved on camera. After the clip made its rounds on social media, Twitch moderators did not hesitate to remove the clip and ban the channel from the platform.

Bans against Twitch channels can be temporary or permanent. Pokimane’s suspension lasted only 48 hours, while Disguised Toast’s alleged suspension was set to last a month. As Twitch has strict community guidelines when it comes to nudity and suggestive content, it is very likely that csgoambi’s ban will be permanent. One can only guess the reason for csgoambi exposing themselves. Perhaps they were unaware that their camera was on, or they were not aware that what they did would go against Twitch’s community guidelines. Of course, there is also the possibility that they knew they would be penalized and chose to do it anyway.

Twitch lets anyone stream their own content or playthroughs of popular video games like Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. However, if streamers go against Twitch’s rules, there is a good chance that their account will be suspended or permanently banned. As this is the case, it would be in everyone’s best interest to do their intimate shaving off-camera.
