There are many different types of weapons in Curse of the Dead Gods. There are Main Weapons, Off-Hand Weapons, and Two-Handed Weapons, with varying ranges, types, and damages. Main Weapons in Curse of the Dead Gods

There are three types of Main Weapons: swords, claws, and maces. Maces deal the most damage on average, but every weapon has its pros and cons. You can only equip one of these weapons at a time.

Moonblade, Night’s Sword has a base damage of 16. Use a charged attack to trigger a dash attack and deal damage to all enemies in your path. To acquire this sword, parry the Moon Twin Champion three times in a row. There is a 20 percent chance that they will drop the blade.

The Sidewinder Sword has a base damage of 15. Its finisher doesn’t deplete your stamina, leaving you with plenty of momentum to take out the next foe. You can find The Sidewinder on the ground, in treasure chests, and in Sanctuaries.

Use Xbeltz’aloc’s Gauntlet to deal 14 damage to enemies. Use a charged attack to land an additional hit during your dash. You can only find these claws in Sanctuaries.

Venomous Fangs make up for their low damage with poison damage. With a base damage of nine, their poison will continue to hurt enemies. Find them on the ground, in treasure chests, and in Sanctuaries.

Xbeltz’aloc’s Scepter has a base damage of 24 that increases by your percentage of missing HP. So if your HP is at 50 percent, the Scepter’s damage will rise to 36. You can only find Xbeltz’aloc’s Scepter in Sanctuaries.

Off-hand Weapons in Curse of the Dead Gods

Off-hand weapons include pistols, daggers, and shields. You can carry two off-hand weapons, and shields deal the most damage on average. Pistols deal the least on average, but you can use them at a distance, compensating for their light damage.

The Smith and Wesson Schofield Pistol have a base damage of 22. Use this pistol to always shoot Perfect Shots. The Dragon Sleeve gun makes up for its light damage of 12 with poison attacks. Use it to weaken enemies at a distance. Find these pistols on the ground, in treasure chests, or in Sanctuaries.

The Ancient Buckler shield comes in handy for parrying experts. With a base damage of 35, after you parry an opponent’s attack go at it with your main weapon to deal critical damage for two seconds. If you’re not great at parrying, try the Whispering Aegis. With a base damage of 35, you have a 25 percent chance to parry automatically. Find both of these shields on the ground, in chests, or in Sanctuaries.

As for daggers, Heart Render, the Flesh Eater is great if you are a bloodthirsty explorer. Each enemy you kill with this dagger permanently increases its base damage of 18 by five percent, with a cap of 200 percent. Sacrifice blood or gold for the Heart Render in Sanctuaries.

The Duelist’s Shiv is ideal if you want to reserve stamina. Evade an attack with an off-hand combo to fully restore your stamina. The Shiv also has the highest damage out of all of the daggers. Find it on the ground, in treasure chests, and in Sanctuaries.

Two-hand Weapons in Curse of the Dead Gods

You can only equip one two-handed weapon at a time. Spears and heavy weapons deal high damage, while bows can deal ranged attacks. Heavy weapons deal the most damage, but have longer attacks, while spears are quick.

Charge an attack with a Windfury Pike to hit an enemy three times instead of two. With a base damage of 24, you can make a big impact with this spear. The Feathered Spear is another weapon with a stamina bonus. Use the Spear to deal a damage of 27 and to restore a stamina point for each kill. Look for the Windfury Pike and Feathered Spear on the ground, in treasure chests, and in Sanctuaries.

If you’re looking for a powerful way to deal fire attacks, look for the Jaguar Hammer on the ground, in treasure chests, and in Sanctuaries. With a damage of 45, it has the potential to become your favorite weapon. Having trouble maintaining your health? Sacrifice blood or gold in Sanctuaries for the Blood Weeper, Life Seeper Macana. Its attacks steal ten percent of an enemy’s health points and has a damage of 43.
