Dancing With The Stars season 25 was one of the show’s best to date – here’s a recap of all the celebrity contestants who took part and the eventual winner. Based on the BBC series Strictly Come Dancing, Dancing With The Stars airs on ABC and is one of the network’s longest-running primetime shows. In each season a group of celebrities are paired with professional dancers who teach them new dance routines centered around themes like Disney or Halloween. Each week, the celebrities and their dance partners perform a routine and compete for judges’ points and audience vote, with the lowest scoring couple being eliminated until just the winners remain.

Dancing With The Stars was an instant hit when its first season premiered in 2005 and the show is still going strong more than a decade later. Over the course of its 27 seasons, the show has won a total of 16 Primetime Emmys and was recently renewed for its twenty-eighth season which is set to air in Fall 2019. It also spawned spinoff Dancing With The Stars: Juniors in 2018 that features young celebrities like Honey Boo Boo competing against each other.

All corners of the entertainment industry were represented in Dancing With The Stars season 25 from musicians Debbie Gibson and Lindsey Stirling, TV stars like Pretty Little Liars actress Sasha Pieterse and Property Brothers co-host Drew Scott to sports stars including wrestler Nikki Bella and former NFL player Terrell Owens. Season 25 was also something of a family affair as it featured husband and wife Nick and Vanessa Lachey competing against each other and paired with another married Dancing With The Stars couple – professional dancers Peta Murgatroyd and Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

Despite impressive performances from many of the contestants, it was actor-singer Jordan Fisher (Teen Wolf) who was crowned the winner of season 25 along with dance partner Lindsay Arnold. It was Arnold’s first win on Dancing With The Stars and Fisher broke a number of records himself during season 25 too. Not only does he hold the current record for the most perfect scores received by a celebrity contestant, but Fisher – then aged 23 – is also the youngest winner to date, making season 25 one of the show’s most memorable seasons.
