Darcey & Stacey: Stacey Criticized for Not Acknowledging Florian’s Flaws

Darcey & Stacey star Stacey Silva is being called out by Reddit for trying to redirect Darcey Silva’s attention to Georgi’s red flags so Florian Sukaj’s flaws can be ignored. As Darcey dealt with multiple heartbreaks on 90 Day Fiancé, her twin Stacey stayed put with her Albanian man for five years until he came to America. But at the same time, Darcey discovered dirt on Florian about how he cheated with Shanti Zohra. Despite him admitting to it, Stacey got married to him. In season 2 of Darcey & Stacey, however, Stacey is overlooking Florian’s temper flares, despite the fact that he may be using her for a Green Card himself, in order to blame Georgi, according to TLC fans.

Florian gave a preview of how his married life with Stacey is going after his cheating scandal by lashing out at her during his photo shoot. With the 90 Day Fiancé star trying her best to get Florian to show off his abs to increase his chances of getting work, all he could tell Stacey was to “have mercy” and “shut your ******* mouth, I’m serious.” In episode 2 of Darcey & Stacey, Florian, who admitted to sometimes losing control, also revealed he prioritized his faith over doctors when Stacey suggested they receive IVF treatment to get pregnant. Florian claimed even 70-year-old women have babies in Albania and later scolded Stacey for being a snitch. All this happened while Stacey’s mind was occupied by Georgi and the $1,400 found in his sock.

A Reddit user observed that “Stacey is too concerned about Georgi’s red flags and not enough about Florian’s.” The Darcey & Stacey viewer also added that the twins’ father, Mike Silva, spoke of Florian at least wanting to work compared to Georgi. But while asking if there were any Albanian fans to give insight into his personality, they also wanted to know how much work Florian was doing amid the pandemic. One fan responded, “I’m Albanian and Florian is clearly pulling a Green Card scam on Stace.” Still, they think that Florian will continue to stay with Stacey until she “keeps looking the other way while he cheats.”

Another fan suggested that Florian isn’t model material at all, with someone else posting, “Florian is DEFINITELY not into Stacey at all.” A different Redditor remembered that Florian was livelier when Tom Brooks and Darcey met him in Albania and that after coming to the United States he started to look unimpressed. “Albanians, in general, are a lot friendlier and more animated than Florian,” said a comment, as some fans also agreed that the Darcey & Stacey leads might be having some kind of twin jealously going on between them.

Meanwhile, social media suggests Florian and Stacey are still together and married, although new evidence of him having been close to Shanti keeps getting shared. This sometimes makes fans suspect that Florian and Stacey are playing it up for the cameras, especially with words like “bubu” and “angel” thrown in. While Florian may show a shift in his personality as more episodes of Darcey & Stacey pass by, perhaps 90 Day Fiancé fans will also start believing Stacey when she says he’s a good guy.
