TLC has released a trailer for Darcey & Stacey season 3, which teased a January 2022 return for the series. Darcey & Stacey is about the life, adventures and relationships of two 90 Day Fiancé alumni, twin sisters Darcey and Stacey Silva. Fans were first introduced to the pair of twins on the 90 Day Fiancé spin-off show 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, which premiered in August 2017.

After appearing in all four seasons of Before the 90 Days, Darcey became one of the most talked-about cast members on the show. Season 3 included more footage of Darcey and Stacey together than in previous seasons, including a dramatic trip the two took with their significant others to Albania. Darcey & Stacey debuted in August 2020 and follows Darcey, Stacey and Darcey’s two teenage daughters, Aniko and Aspen Bollok. The Darcey & Stacey season 2 finale brought up the most recent breakup between Darcey and her on-again, off-again Bulgarian partner, Georgi Rusev. The episode also showed the twins’ new looks after returning home from their latest plastic surgeries.

After the Darcey and Stacey season 2 finale aired, TLC released a trailer for season 3, which was posted on the network’s Instagram account. The trailer showed Darcey and Stacey getting ready for a fashion show alongside Darcey’s daughters, Aniko and Aspen. Stacey could be heard saying, “Darcey and I are the face of our own brand, and we’re gearing up to get ready for our fashion show. Let’s do it big, baby!“ The video was posted alongside the caption, “The twins won’t be gone for long. Darcey and Stacey are doing it big on a brand new season coming in January!” An exact premiere date for Darcey & Stacey season 3 has not been revealed yet.

In the comments of TLC’s Instagram announcement, Darcey & Stacey fans had mixed reactions to a brand-new season. Some fans expressed distaste for the news that the show would be returning for a third season, using words like “boring” and “vapid“ in their comments on the post. In contrast, some 90 Day Fiancé alumni showed their excitement for the upcoming season. Elisabeth “Libby” Potthast from 90 Day Fiancé season 5 and many of its spin-offs left a comment on the announcement with heart eyes emojis. Additionally, Colt Johnson from 90 Day Fiancé season 6 also commented by saying, “Holy smokes!“

Whether 90 Day Fiancé fans are excited about the return of Darcey & Stacey or not, it seems like a new season was definitely in order for this famous pair of twins. The last episode of the previous season ended with Darcey breaking up with Georgi, and that isn’t a note that the twins’ story should end on. Fans will have to wait until January to see what’s next in store for the Silva sisters.
