These were used to show the power of the PlayStation 4 and how well Days Gone can handle dozens of enemies on the screen at once. Players should explore the rest of the world to find the remaining 17 zombie hordes. Each one has their own challenge to them since they take place in different settings. This is a huge part of the game.

While exploring the world, players will stumble across certain camps. Each Camp that Deacon visits will have their own personal opinion of Deacon.
